W-9 Line 1 Cannot Be Updated
I own a U.S. single-member LLC that's a disregarded entity. In App Store Connect, Line 1 of the W-9 is locked to the LLC name, but the IRS instructions say the owner's name goes on Line 1 and the LLC on Line 2. This is blocking my Paid Apps Agreement. I contacted Finance Support around 9-23-26 with a screenshot and video of the issue, but haven't heard back. I followed up a week ago. Still no response. Has anyone with a single-member LLC gotten this fixed recently? Apple developer support says their financial team is the only team that can handle this issue. Nearly one month to fix some basic text is ridiculous. I could have handles this myself if the Line 1 box wasn't greyed out.

DSA trader status "In Review" for over a week – approved app not available in the EU
Hi everyone, I submitted my Digital Services Act trader information on October 30. I verified both my email and phone the same day and received the "We received your trader contact information" confirmation email. Since then, the status under Business → Compliance has stayed at "In Review". My app was approved on October 28 and has been "Ready for Distribution" since then. But under Pricing and Availability, Spain (the only country I've selected) shows "Trader Status Not Provided", so the app isn't available on the App Store. I've contacted Developer Support several times by email (no reply yet), and phone support says it's currently unavailable. Has anyone else experienced long DSA verification times recently? How long did it take for you? And is there anything else I can do on my side to speed it up? Thanks in advance!

W-9 shown for single-member US LLC owned by a non-US individual — should be W-8BEN (disregarded entity)
Hello! I have a new organization-level Apple Developer account and I'm stuck on the Tax Forms step in App Store Connect (https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/business). The system is showing me U.S. Form W-9 as the only option, but in my case filling out a W-9 would be incorrect — and I'd appreciate guidance from anyone who has resolved this. My setup: I am a non-US individual (not a US citizen, not a US resident, never lived in the US). I am the sole owner of a single-member LLC registered in the US (set up via Firstbase specifically to distribute a mobile app). For US federal tax purposes, this LLC is a disregarded entity — it's not treated as a separate taxpayer from its owner. Why W-9 is not the correct form in my case: The IRS instructions for Form W-9 explicitly state: "If the owner of the disregarded entity is a foreign person, the owner must complete an appropriate Form W-8 instead of a Form W-9. This is the case even if the foreign person has a U.S. TIN." Form W-9 also requires me to certify, under penalty of perjury, that I am a US person — which I am not. The LLC itself doesn't certify anything on a W-9 because it's disregarded; the IRS looks through to the beneficial owner, who in my case is a foreign individual. The correct form for me should be W-8BEN (Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner — Individuals). What I've already tried: I opened two support cases 4 days ago and have not received a substantive response yet: Apple Developer Support — Case ID: 20000112974233 Ack Tax / Tax category settings — Team ID: 7YYWN3MYCY, Case ID: 19944616 My questions: Has anyone in the same situation (non-US individual, sole owner of a US single-member LLC) successfully switched the tax form from W-9 to W-8BEN inside App Store Connect? If so, how? Is there a specific path in the Business / Tax Forms section to declare the beneficial owner as a foreign individual that I might be missing? Is there an escalation channel beyond the standard support cases for tax-form issues that are blocking onboarding? Thanks in advance for any pointers.

App Store Connect payments not received for 2 months, no resolution from support
Hello, I have not received my App Store payments for the last 2 months. I have contacted Apple Developer Support several times about this, but the issue has not been resolved. Phone support is also not available for this topic. The affected fiscal months are September and October. Could someone from Apple please look at this case and confirm whether these payments were sent or returned by my bank, and if anything is needed from my side? Has anyone else had this problem recently? What helped you get it resolved? Thank you.

No replies from Apple Support about updating tax information and business type
I’m unable to get a response from Apple about correcting my account information. I’ve submitted support requests through Apple Developer Support and Apple Finance, and followed up by email, but my attempts to get help remain unanswered. As of 4 November 2026, the unresolved issues are: Tax information: I first submitted a correction request on 15 October, 20 calendar days ago. My App Store Connect tax form contains incorrect pre-filled citizenship and residence details that I cannot edit. Business/legal-entity information: I first requested a legal-entity name update on 11 October, 24 calendar days ago. I also submitted a membership business-type review/change request on 27 October, but the issue remains unresolved. Those waiting periods are measured from my first requests, not my latest follow-ups. Without a reply, I don’t know whether my requests are being reviewed or whether Apple needs anything further from me. How can I get these existing requests reviewed and receive a response? Is there an escalation route when support forms and email follow-ups produce no reply? I can provide case numbers and supporting documents privately to Apple. I’ve omitted personal, tax, banking, and account identifiers from this public post. Thank you for any guidance.

DSA trader verification code never arrives – app stuck “Cannot Sell” in EU
The app is marked as "in distribution" but is still not visible in the EU. Pricing and Availability shows Slovenia “Cannot Sell – Trader Status Not Provided”, when applying for trader status, the trader verification code never arrives (tried Hotmail and Gmail for several days). Please escalate or forward this to the team that handles DSA trader verification.

Apple Finance Support: 30 Days, Multiple Follow Ups, Zero Responses on a Missing Payout
My October 1, 2026 App Store payout was marked as Paid but the money has still not reached my bank account. I opened a Finance Support ticket on October 6. It’s now November 5 and despite multiple follow ups over the past 30 days, I have received zero responses from the Finance team beyond the initial automated acknowledgment. My bank has confirmed it cannot locate the payment and requires transfer details from Apple to investigate. My October 29 payout arrived successfully in the same bank account but the October 1 payment remains missing. I’ve also opened a Developer Support ticket requesting an internal escalation but that request has also gone unanswered. How can a payment remain missing for over a month while Apple’s Finance Support leaves every follow up unanswered? Has anyone experienced something similar or found an effective way to get an unanswered Finance case escalated?

App Transfer stuck for a month on Export Compliance – deadlock (neither party can complete the steps)
Hello, I’m facing a deadlock with an app transfer that has been pending for almost a month. Current situation: The transfer is stuck in “Waiting for Export Compliance” / pending export compliance on the recipient’s side. The deadlock: As the transferor, I can no longer make any changes to the app because it is in a pending transfer state. The recipient cannot complete the export compliance / encryption documentation steps either, because the app has not yet been transferred to their account. So neither party is able to perform the actions Apple is asking for. Additional context: The app only uses standard encryption provided by the iOS operating system (HTTPS). It does not use any proprietary or non-exempt encryption. In App Store Connect there are older approved App Encryption Documentation records (from June/July 2025) showing ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = YES, while the app’s Info.plist currently has this key set to false. I have already explained this inconsistency to Developer Support. We still have no resolution or clear path forward. Could someone from Apple (or anyone who has faced a similar deadlock) advise on the correct way to unblock this transfer? Thank you in advance for any help. Case ID: 103015921518

Foreign-owned US LLC stuck on W-9 form, tax team silent for a month
My developer account is a US single-member LLC owned by a non-US individual. The LLC is a disregarded entity with a valid EIN. App Store Connect only shows me the W-9 workflow. But the IRS instructions for W-9 say: ▎ "If the owner of a disregarded entity is a foreign person, the owner must complete an appropriate Form W-8 instead of a Form W-9" So I legally cannot submit a W-9. I need the W-8BEN workflow enabled. Apple Finance told me all US legal entities must complete a W-9, then suggested I get an EIN (I have one) or change my address. When I sent the IRS guidance, they said their system can't make the change and forwarded it to the tax team. That was May 14 (Case-ID 19771345). Over 15 business days later: no reply, no timeline, and my paid agreement is still inactive. My business is on hold. Has anyone with a foreign-owned single-member US LLC gotten the W-8BEN workflow enabled? Is there any escalation path beyond iTSPayments and the Finance contact form? Both have gone quiet.

Can't Add for Review: "an Admin must provide App Privacy" but App Privacy is complete and Publish is disabled
Our first app cannot be added for review. App Apple ID 6823621704, iOS 1.0, Prepare for Submission. Add for Review shows: "Before you can submit this app for review, an Admin must provide information about the app's privacy practices in the App Privacy section." What we have checked: - App Privacy: privacy policy URL set, 9 data types declared, no tracking. The Publish button is disabled. Editing a data type and saving again does not enable it, and the error remains. - I am signed in as the Account Holder (Admin role). - Free Apps Agreement active, latest Program License Agreement accepted, DSA status complete, age rating questionnaire complete, build attached, encryption declared in Info.plist. Developer Support case 103014147137, open since 31 October. Phone support is not available for our region. Could someone from Apple check whether the App Privacy status for this app is stuck on your side? Thank you.

Is Apple Experiencing Delays or Technical Issues with the App Store Review Process?
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm reaching out to ask whether anyone else is currently experiencing unusually long review times in App Store Connect. Our app, NumbuX, has been stuck in the "Waiting for Review" status for approximately three weeks, without any updates or requests for additional information. We understand that review times can vary, but this delay seems significantly longer than usual. I would appreciate any clarification regarding the following: Are there any known technical issues or backlogs affecting the App Store review process? Are other developers experiencing similar delays? Is there a recommended way to escalate or request an update when an app remains in "Waiting for Review" for several weeks? Could there be an issue with our submission that is preventing it from progressing, even though no action is requested in App Store Connect? We want to ensure that there is nothing missing on our side and that our submission is being processed correctly. We have also opened few tickets in different areas and we have not had any replied yet. Is anyone in the same situation? Thank you in advance for any information or guidance.

Sole Proprietor with Organization Account – W-8BEN-E Tax Form Issue
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm a registered sole proprietor based in Türkiye with a D-U-N-S number. My Apple Developer account was approved and activated as an Organization. However, App Store Connect only offers the W-8BEN-E tax form, which is intended for entities. Since I operate as a sole proprietor, I cannot accurately complete the available entity classification options. There is no Individual option, and I cannot access the W-8BEN form. As a result, my Paid Apps Agreement remains stuck at "Pending User Info", preventing me from completing the tax and financial setup. I have already contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and have been waiting for a resolution from the appropriate team. Interestingly, I've also spoken with a Canadian developer who has exactly the same situation: a registered sole proprietorship, a D-U-N-S number, an approved Organization account, and the same W-8BEN-E problem. My questions are: Can Apple make the W-8BEN form available to a sole proprietor with an existing Organization account? Is there a way to correct the tax classification without converting the Developer account from Organization to Individual? Has anyone successfully resolved this issue through Apple Finance or App Store Connect Support? Can an Apple representative clarify the correct procedure for sole proprietors in this situation? I would appreciate any official guidance or a confirmed solution from developers who have experienced this issue. Thank you.

First app stuck in Waiting for Review for 5 days
Our first app, Pieceful (Apple ID 6825041885), was submitted October 29 with two new auto-renewable subscriptions and has stayed in Waiting for Review since. We sent an expedite request on November 1 and a support request today with no reply. Agreements, tax and banking are all active, App Privacy is published, and there are no messages in App Review. Could someone confirm nothing is blocking the submission? Submission ID: 850eb955-46d5-4bb7-b3a9-91ddd24285e4. Thank you.

Replace an approved, unreleased version 1.0 build with a new build (TestFlight first)?
My first app (watchOS) has version 1.0, build 16, approved by App Review and set to manual release, so it is Pending Developer Release. It has never been released. Since then I've added features (Apple Health workout recording) in build 17. I don't want build 16 released. I'd like to: Upload build 17 and test it with internal TestFlight testers. Submit build 17 for review and release it as the app's first public version. Questions Can build 17 be uploaded as version 1.0 while version 1.0 (build 16) is Pending Developer Release, or will the upload be refused with ITMS-90062 ("must contain a higher version than that of the previously approved version")? If it's refused, what's the right path: reject build 16 myself (Developer Rejected) and then submit build 17 under 1.0, or change the version to 1.0.1 for build 17? Can the version number of the existing 1.0 record be edited after a rejection, or do I need a new version? Is it safe to try the TestFlight upload before doing anything to build 16? I don't want to lose the current approval by mistake. Thanks for any guidance.

Urgent fix needed: XCode 27.2 update does not allow distribution to app store (Unsupported SDK or Xcode version)
Hi there, As the title says, distributing to the app store is currently not possible on the live XCode 27.2 update that was released 9 hours ago. ASC does not accept it as a distribution version: Unsupported SDK or Xcode version. Your app was built with an SDK or version of Xcode that isn’t supported. Although you can use beta versions of SDKs and Xcode to build and upload apps to App Store Connect, you need to use the latest Release Candidates (RC) for SDKs and Xcode to submit the app. For details on currently supported SDKs and versions of Xcode, visit: https://developer.apple.com/news/releases. Best, Beren

W-9 shown for single-member US LLC owned by a non-US individual — should be W-8BEN (disregarded entity)

Apple Finance Support: 30 Days, Multiple Follow Ups, Zero Responses on a Missing Payout

App Transfer stuck for a month on Export Compliance – deadlock (neither party can complete the steps)
Hello, I’m facing a deadlock with an app transfer that has been pending for almost a month.

Best, Beren
