Better SwiftUI Support in Accessibility Audits
Will the Xcode accessibility audit tool be updated to better support SwiftUI? I have simple cases where I have a Form section header 'Text("some text")' that clearly works in the real world and on simulators, but I have a warning for each such scenario. Like compile warnings, too many incorrect warnings in the audit makes it hard to find the real potential accessibility issues. Xcode: 27.1 RC Here is a snippet from one of my audit reports. One of the warnings is pointing directly at the section header of my form. The code is as simple generic as one can get. As I mentioned the header is a simple Text("some text").

DYLD_PRINT_STATISTICS
Did DYLD_PRINT_STATISTICS stop working? I am using Xcode 26.0.1 and have tried it on several simulators and real devices, but am not getting any output. I haven't used this environment variable in a few years so don't know when it might have stopped working. Has it been superseded or replaced?

What happened to readable margins?
Am in the process of migrating some UIKit based apps over to SwiftUI, but for the life of me I cannot find the SwiftUI equivalent of Readable Content Margins. I have come across some workarounds that kind of, sort of work, but do not produce the same results when compared to running the same user interface written using UIKit on several sizes of iPads in portrait and landscape orientiations. is it something Apple has not gotten around to yet, because I realize SwiftUI is a work-in-progress, or do we not care about creating consistent readable margins in our apps anymore?

Will FlatBuffers API be made available?
In the WWDC 2024 session, "Bring context to today's weather", it was mentioned that the Swift API now uses FlatBuffers when downloading the weather data to the client device. Will Apple's API for FlatBuffers be made available to developers? If its already in the SDK (client side) it would seem a shame to have to include another framework that does the same thing.

playbackStoreID is "0" for local songs
I am trying to get the playbackStoreID via the MPMediaPickerController so I can play songs in my app. For many songs I can see and select I am getting a value of "0" for the playbackStoreID on the returned MPMediaItem. Now if I use the "Music" app I can play those songs, but since the playbackStoreID is "0" I cannot successful get them in the queue for a MPMusicPlayerController.applicationQueuePlayer What's the deal? How do I get a proper ID that I can use to get those songs played? If I cannot, how can I hide those songs from the MPMediaPickerController so a user does not think they can play those songs in my app?

What role/permissions/privileges needed to get emails regarding app review submissions
Am tired of asking my boss to forward me the emails they get from Apple with the subject "The uploaded build for XXXX has one or more issues." I am trying to debug issues such as ITMS-91053: Missing API declaration as we deal with our 3rd party package usage. What permissions, privileges do I need to get those emails?

How to find usages of Reason Required API?
We are getting warnings from Apple, ITMS-91053 Missing API declaration, for categories Disk Space, Timestamp, and more. But we've checked our source code to make sure we are not making any of the entry points at issue. We suspect they are being called from one of the 3rd party frameworks we use, some of them are binary xcframeworks. Is Apple planning on extending their warnings to provide more information about where the usages are? Are we left to find it ourselves? Do we need to resort to adding those reasons to our app's manifest? Which seems hacking since we probably don't know when of the allowed reasons are accurate.

Apple Music Affiliate Program gone?
I was about to finally sign up for the Apple Music affiliate program since one of my apps does provide the MusickKit Subscription Offer. However, it looks like it was renamed and restricts usage to only artists and record labels. (https://partners.applemediaservices.com) Is this correct? Can I as an indie developer not earn commission of Apple Music that I drive from my apps?

App Download Size Nag Email - "Universal" device type
Whenever we submit a new release to the App Store we get a nag email from Apple that states, "The app binary listed below was 199.2 MB when you submitted it, but will be 223.9 MB once processed for the App Store. This exceeds the cellular network download size limit and may require your app to be downloaded over Wi-Fi." However, when I download the app from the App Store and have the Settings set to "Alway Ask" on my phone the alert shows 129 MB, which is matches up closely with what we see in the TestFlight metadata for all device types except "Universal". What is "Universal" device type in these days of thinning? And why is Apple apparently using that number to generate the nag email?

I keep getting random crashes, when attempting to reconfigure an existing item. No UIImage(resource:) equivalent for SpriteKit
I love the new UIImage(resource:) initializer that uses the automatically generated symbols for my image assets. However, there does not appear to be an equivalent in SpriteKit so I am forced to still use SKSpriteNode(imageNamed:) I am using Xcode 15 Beta 7. Will this be included when Xcode 15 goes into production?

Xcode Intelligence not accessing Claude config (mcp-servers)
I have configured Xcode 26.3RC to utilize Claude and Claude Agent. However, it does not seem to access Claude's config.json where I supply information for the MCP servers that I use with Claude. If I manually tell Xcode to look in the config file it finds the appropriate API keys, but that's not really a usable experience.

MKHybridMapConfiguration does not show traffic
Am looking to finally updating some old code now that we are dropping iOS 15 support and want to move to the new mkMapView configurations such as MKHybridMapConfiguration. However when I use that configuration I cannot get it to show traffic conditions, even though I am setting showsTraffic = true Bug, feature, dumb coding error on my part?
