Xcode 27.2 AI Conversation Window / Coding Assistant - poor UX
It seems it's not possible anymore to view the output of the thinking process of an LLM. In Xcode 27 we were able to enlarge the output of each thinking phase, even though the UX wasn't actually great for doing this. Now, in Xcode 27.2 this is almost completely gone. There's only one line that seems to print the last line of the output. Do I miss something? Observing this content while the LLM is thinking is important, in order to be able to steer the LLM, or help it to find things, stop digressing into irrelevant topics, etc. While this was also not great, since enqueuing a message while the LLM is thinking has been queued – but the thinking phase has never been interrupted. So, enqueuing a message in order to steer the LLM was almost futile anyway. Nonetheless, I would expect newer Xcode versions to improve the user experience. I am unsure why this choice was made and included in a release. In my view, the AI chat and conversation behavior need improvement in several ways, though that is material for a few more posts.

Notarization worked, then every submission rejected with 7000 "Team is not yet configured for notarization"
Following Quinn's advice in https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/118465?answerId=379585022#379585022, I have opened a Developer Programs Support case and am posting here with the case number. Case number: 103005753388 Team ID: 6PG3USG4A9 Notarization worked for this team: three submissions were accepted on 21 and 22 October 2026. Since the evening of 22 October every submission is rejected with status code 7000, "Team is not yet configured for notarization". The rejection logs have "issues": null and no ticket. Nothing changed on our side between the accepted and the rejected submissions: same app, same Developer ID Application certificate, same Apple ID with an app-specific password, same xcrun notarytool. Simulator and Canvas 27.3 "identityservicesd quit unexpectedly"
Anyone working with the 27.3 devices beta in Xcode 27.3 on macOS 27.3? Apple Developer Program enrollment Pending for 4 weeks
Hello everyone, I am looking for assistance or guidance regarding my Apple Developer Program enrollment. My Apple Developer Support Case ID is 102993829177. Timeline of my enrollment and communications with Apple Developer Support October 8, 2026 - Paid the $99 Apple Developer Program membership fee and received an official payment confirmation from Apple. On the same day, I submitted my Russian international passport for identity verification. Apple confirmed receipt of the document. However, my enrollment remained Pending, and the system continued asking me to purchase the membership again. October 12 - Contacted Apple Developer Support for the first time regarding my pending enrollment. Support case 102993829177 was created. October 16–17 - Received a response from an Apple Developer Support representative explaining that my international passport confirmed my country, but additional documentation was required to verify my city of residence in Russia. October 17 - Replied to the support representative and submitted photographs of my Russian internal passport, including the identification page and the residential registration page showing my current address. No response received. October 22 - Sent a follow-up email asking for confirmation that the documents had been received and requesting information about the next steps. No response received. October 29 - Contacted support again to request an update on my enrollment and document verification. No response received. In summary, I have sent three messages since the additional documents were requested - on October 17, 22, and 29 - without receiving any response. As of November 5, 2026, it has been 28 days since my payment and 19 days since I submitted the additional documents. My Apple Developer account still shows "Pending" and continues to display "Purchase your membership", even though the membership fee has already been paid. Phone support is not available to me. I understand that document verification may take additional time. However, I currently have no confirmation that my latest documents have been received and are being reviewed, or whether any further action is required from me. I would appreciate any guidance from Apple Developer Support representatives or community members on how to obtain an update on my enrollment status and determine the next steps. Apple Developer Support Case ID: 102993829177. Thank you for your assistance!

Unable to complete Apple Developer Program enrollment payment (Turkey region)
Hello, I am trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program (Individual) from Turkey, but the payment is repeatedly declined at the final step. My bank confirms there is no problem on their side and that the charge is not being declined by them. What I have already tried, all with the same result: Multiple cards from 3 different banks 3 different browsers, plus Linux, Windows, and an iPhone The Apple Developer iOS app (as suggested by Apple Support over email) Matching the billing address exactly to my account address Removing Turkish characters from my name This looks like the known issue currently affecting Turkey-based enrollments, as many other developers are reporting the same problem in these forums. Could a member of Apple staff please review my account and manually process the enrollment if needed? Account email: omerfarukunlu@ proton.me Region: Turkey Enrollment type: Individual Support case ID (varsa): 102892859221 Thank you for your help.

Developer account transfer to organization – no response for months
We requested a transfer of our Apple Developer accounts to our organization several months ago. We've followed up multiple times by email but haven't received any response, and this is blocking our app releases. Is there a recommended way to escalate this, or is there a known processing delay for account transfers? Any help from Apple staff would be appreciated.

Swift Playground Startup Bug
Hey, I'm having an issue with Swift Playgrounds. On the initial project selection screen, I can't select the project at the very top. It seems to be covered by some kind of blurry overlay. Here's a screenshot showing what I mean: I have already tried to reinstall it, but same problem. Im using Version 4.7 (2088). Thanks in advance for your help! ☺️

Sign in with Apple shows old app name (“Pet Companion”) after renaming to PawAide — all identifiers updated
Our app’s Sign in with Apple sheet still says “Create an account for Pet Companion,” but the app was renamed to PawAide, and every setting we control has been updated: Primary App ID (app.replit.petcompanion): description is “PawAide,” set as the Primary App ID for Sign in with Apple, no other grouped App IDs Services ID (web flow): description is “PawAide,” linked to the primary App ID above App Store Connect: app name is “PawAide” (English U.S., our only localization), and the app is live on the App Store under that name These changes were made over 11 days ago. I have revoked the app under Settings → Sign in with Apple and retested on new TestFlight builds. The old name still appears in both the native iOS sheet and the web flow. Sign-in itself works fine; only the display name is wrong. Developer Support suggested checking these same identifiers, which are all already correct. Has anyone seen the Sign in with Apple display name stay stuck like this? Is there a way to get the cached name refreshed on Apple’s side? Support case: 103007748183 Thanks for any help!

Apple Developer Program payment not linked to account (Apple ID mismatch, stuck in Pending)
Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my Apple Developer Program enrollment. Here is my situation: I enrolled using Apple ID A I completed the payment using Apple ID B (via iPhone) Both Apple IDs belong to me and have the same personal information However: My developer account still shows "Pending" It asks me to "Complete your purchase" The payment has been successfully charged No refund has been issued It has been over 80 hours Additionally, I currently see that both of my Apple IDs show "Pending" status, and the payment does not appear to be linked to either enrollment. I have already contacted Apple Developer Support and waiting for their response. My questions: Has anyone experienced a similar issue with Apple ID mismatch? How long did it take to resolve? Is there anything else I should do besides waiting for support?

Xcode Cloud export fails with exit code 70: "Developer ID Application Managed" certificate exists but Xcode Cloud reports no cert/private key found
We're getting a build failure from Xcode Cloud on the Export Archive step for the Developer ID distribution destination. The App Store Connect and Development exports in the same build both succeed, only the Developer ID export fails. Environment Xcode 27.2 (27B48), macOS SDK 27.2 Build: Vor (macOS), Build 1270 Team ID: BB23FH7873 When Xcode Cloud queries for a certificate of type DEVELOPER_ID_APPLICATION_MANAGED zero results are returned: Payload: {"urlEncodedQueryParams":"teamId=BB23FH7873&filter[certificateType]=DEVELOPER_ID_APPLICATION_MANAGED&limit=200"} Response: { "data" : [ ], "meta" : { "paging" : { "total" : 0 ... } } }It then attempts to create one, which is rejected: POST .../certificates {"certificateType":"DEVELOPER_ID_APPLICATION_MANAGED","teamId":"BB23FH7873"} Response: { "errors" : [ { "status" : "409", "code" : "ENTITY_ERROR", "resultCode" : 7460, "title" : "There is a problem with the request entity", "detail" : "You already have a current Developer ID Application Managed certificate or a pending certificate request." } ] }The export step then fails with: error: exportArchive No signing certificate "Developer ID Application" found No "Developer ID Application" signing certificate matching team ID "BB23FH7873" with a private key was found. error: exportArchive No profiles for 'app.getvor.macOS' were found Xcode couldn't find any Developer ID provisioning profiles matching 'app.getvor.macOS'. ** EXPORT FAILED **xcodebuild -exportArchive then exits with status 70. We have two Developer ID Application Managed (Xcode Cloud) certificates already in Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, and no certs pending that we can see. So it looks like something is preventing Xcode Cloud from seeing its own previously created managed certificates. Is there a way to get Xcode Cloud to recognize the existing certificates? Other posts suggest revoking existing Developer ID Application certificates, however our understanding is this has the potential to break currently signed and shipped versions of the application. A version of this question was also submitted as case ID 103008361082.

Xcode Cloud Developer ID export fails: certificate query returns empty, creation fails with HTTP 409 (7460)
My macOS app, AnimacX, cannot complete Developer ID distribution export in Xcode Cloud. The affected build is 1144, and the preceding build 1143 contains the following certificate lookup and creation failures. Environment: Team ID: SWWMY4BCX7 Bundle ID: app.anix.AnimacX Xcode version recorded in the Build 1143 logs: 27.1 (27A9275) Automatic signing enabled Failing step: Export archive for developer-id distribution xcodebuild -exportArchive exits with code 70 The provisioning log shows this sequence: Xcode Cloud queries certificates with type DEVELOPER_ID_APPLICATION_MANAGED. The response contains an empty data array and a total count of 0. Xcode then attempts to create a managed Developer ID Application certificate. The creation request fails with: HTTP 409 code: ENTITY_ERROR resultCode: 7460 You already have a current Developer ID Application Managed certificate or a pending certificate request. The export subsequently reports: No signing certificate "Developer ID Application" found No "Developer ID Application" signing certificate matching team ID "SWWMY4BCX7" with a private key was found. No profiles for 'app.anix.AnimacX' were found. However, the Certificates page for this team lists two Developer ID Application Managed (Xcode Cloud) certificates, both created by Xcode Cloud and expiring on February 2, 2027. I have an Admin role on the team. This workflow was working normally until recently, and I have not created, revoked, or otherwise modified any certificates. Building and uploading the macOS app to App Store Connect directly from local Xcode still succeeds. The iOS and tvOS builds and distribution workflows also continue to work normally. The failure is limited to Developer ID distribution export for macOS in Xcode Cloud. I contacted Apple Developer Support under case 103008194927 and was directed to post here. Screenshots are attached, and I can provide the full distribution logs. Could an Apple engineer help determine why Xcode Cloud returns no certificates while the creation service reports an existing certificate or pending request? What action is required to restore Developer ID export, and does this require investigation of the team’s cloud-managed signing state?

Xcode 27.0 Metal Toolchain download stuck at "Beginning asset download..."
Hi everyone, I downloaded Xcode 27.0 today because I need the Metal Toolchain for Unreal Engine 5.6 on my Mac. Xcode itself is installed and working, but Unreal is having issues because the Metal Toolchain doesn't seem to be installed. When I run: xcrun metal --version I get: error: error: cannot execute tool 'metal' due to missing Metal Toolchain; use: xcodebuild -downloadComponent MetalToolchain I tried: sudo xcodebuild -downloadComponent MetalToolchain but it just stays on: Beginning asset download... If I cancel it, I get: xcodebuild: error: Download was cancelled. (Asset download for com.apple.MobileAsset.MetalToolchain ...) I've also run: xcodebuild -runFirstLaunch and installed the latest Command Line Tools for Xcode 27.0 through Software Update. xcrun --find metal does find the executable, but the actual Metal Toolchain appears to be missing. I'm mainly trying to get this working so I can use Unreal Engine 5.6. Has anyone had this issue with Xcode 27, or know the correct way to install the Metal Toolchain when xcodebuild -downloadComponent gets stuck at "Beginning asset download"? Thanks!

SwiftData + CloudKit unified logs to debug syncing
I was following the instructions of TN3163: Understanding the synchronization of NSPersistentCloudKitContainer to get a sysdiagnose from my machine (after installing the CloudKit profile for macOS) Then, I found an error message that looked interesting in the log, but it looked like this CoreData+CloudKit: -[NSCloudKitMirroringDelegate _exportFinishedWithResult:exporter:](1492): <private>: Export failed with error: Error Domain=CKErrorDomain Code=2 UserInfo={ContainerID=<private>, NSDebugDescription=<private>, CKPartialErrors=<private>, RequestUUID=<private>, NSLocalizedDescription=<private>, CKErrorDescription=<private>, NSUnderlyingError=0x768ff1ca50 {Error Domain=CKInternalErrorDomain Code=1011 UserInfo={CKErrorDescription=<private>, NSLocalizedDescription=<private>, CKPartialErrors=<private>}}}There is some problems mentioned in <private>. Those logs where from subsystem = com.apple.coredata and category = CloudKit Looking at the profile from Apple to debug this i see the subsystem com.apple.coredata was not in there. I could finally get the logs by adding to my Info.plist <key>OSLogPreferences</key> <dict> <key>com.apple.coredata</key> <dict> <key>CloudKit</key> <dict> <key>Enable-Private-Data</key> <true/> </dict> </dict> </dict>as explained in Recording Private Data in the System Log Still, it surprises me this is a problem to begin with. Should i report to Apple an incomplete debugging profile? Is it safe to keep the OSLogPreferences on for coredata/cloudkit for my app?

Switching to Xcode from other apps takes enormous time
I have a powerful machine (Mac Studio M1 Max, 64 GB). Switching between apps is instantaneous. Except for Xcode. It consistently takes 2+ seconds to switch to Xcode from any app under any memory pressure. (And yes, it's an absolutely enormous amount of time for this task.) The same problem was with Xcode 26. I hoped that Xcode 27 will fix it, but nothing changed after updating. There are days when I need to switch between other apps and Xcode often AND many times (in hundreds). This annoying delay is absolutely unacceptable. I'm using Xcode since version 2 and have never experienced this problem. I wonder if other Xcode users experience the same? WHY there's even a delay? Again, no other app behaves like this - and I have quite a few apps open, including multiple heavy Adobe apps. FB25437949

Lengthy App Reviews | Lack of Customer Service | $99 Fee?
Hi all, Long wait times. No responses from Apple Developer Program. Maybe we can find support in the broader professional community instead of trying to get in touch with Apple Developer customer service via these forums? Should we take our thoughts to X or LinkedIn? Emails to Apple Developer Support go seemingly unnoticed, I am not sure if they actually even monitor the inbox. I think it would be better to have a voice outside of these forum walls so that they may have potential to actually be heard. Respond here if you want to connect on LinkedIn or X (twitter) and see if we're able to get ANY SORT OF RESPONSE AT ALL from anyone at Apple Developer which we paid money to be able to access.

Paid organization enrollment still processing, with no response from support
My organization enrollment for Still Apps LLC is still showing "Your enrollment is being processed," even though the membership fee has been paid. Enrollment ID: U87A8C4826 Case IDs: 102980608866 (open since at least September 29, 2026) and 30000005353436 (submitted November 4, 2026) I can't locate the earlier email correspondence on this case, so I don't know whether Apple is waiting on anything from me. I'm ready to provide any verification or business documents needed. Could someone from Apple Developer Support please review this enrollment, tell me whether anything is blocking it, and resend any outstanding requests? Thank you.

Enrollment approved, now stuck at "Unable to Continue" after account mismatch on payment page (India)
Hello, I'm hoping an Apple staff member or someone who has hit this before can help. Situation: I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program (Organization) through the Apple Developer app on my Mac, signed in with my organization's Apple Account. Apple approved the enrollment and let me continue about a week ago. On the next page (payment), the account shown was a different Apple Account, my personal one that is signed in to macOS. I did not pay. Since then, tapping "Continue Your Enrollment" only shows: "Unable to Continue. Contact support at https://developer.apple.com/contact/." What I've tried (same result each time): Restarting the Mac Signing out and back in inside the Developer app Trying on a separate personal iPhone Support status: Case ID: 103014710787 I emailed support and sent a follow-up on the same case, with no reply yet. Phone support shows "currently unavailable" for me in India. I reached them by phone a couple of weeks ago, but not since. What I'm asking: Can someone from Apple confirm the approved enrollment is still linked to my organization's Apple Account and reset the enrollment state so I can continue to payment? Has anyone else seen this after an account mismatch at the payment step, and did anything fix it on your side? I'm happy to share screenshots if useful. Thank you!

Organization enrollment pending 15 days, no contact, phone support off, contact form failing (Enrollment ID KV9A5X2YR2)
Our organization enrollment, ID KV9A5X2YR2, has been pending since October 20. In that time Apple has not called, has not emailed, and has not explained what is holding it up. Support case 103014527097, opened October 31, has never received a reply. Phone support says it is unavailable due to high volume. The phone line tells you to use the website. And the website contact form now fails with an error every time I try to follow up. There is literally no working way to reach Apple about this. We are a venture studio that builds and launches apps, and this product is pre-launch. Our iPhone app is finished and our Android app is already in testing on Google Play, but we cannot open our website to the public until the iPhone app is ready for release. So the whole launch is now blocked only by Apple, and every week of silence costs us users and momentum. I have signed authority for the company and documents ready to send the moment anyone asks. Judging by this forum, we are far from the only ones. For a platform that depends on developers, this is a deeply disappointing way to treat the businesses trying to build on it. Could someone at Apple please flag this enrollment and case for review?

How long does Apple Developer Program enrollment approval usually take?
Hi everyone, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an individual on October 10, 2026, and completed the payment. It’s been almost four weeks, and my account still shows the enrollment as pending in the Apple Developer app and on developer.apple.com/account. I haven’t received any confirmation email or request for additional documents yet. I’m located in Colombia, in case that affects the review. How long did approval take for you? Is there anything I should check or do while I wait, or should I contact Developer Support directly? Thanks in advance!

Unable to complete Apple Developer Program enrollment payment (Turkey region)
