Xcode 27 No iOS 27 Simulators
Tried three times now and absolutely cannot get Xcode 27 to install iOS 27 Simulators. I have done a complete uninstall of Xcode (including things in ~/Library). And even purged /System/Library/AssetsV2/com_apple_MobileAsset_iOSSimulatorRuntime/ When Xcode 27 (27A266a; release version) is installed and run the first time, I'm greeted with the SDK screen. I select iOS and it downloads that runtime. I can see it in Xcode's Components panel in Settings. I only see Any iOS Device as a target device in Xcode. If I launch Device Hub, it's empty and I cannot add any devices since the Add dialog shows No Runtimes Available. Selecting "Add Platforms in Xcode" takes me back to Xcode, but I only ever see iOS 26.5 or older in the list. I've even tried the various xcrun simctl commands, but to no avail. Why is it so difficult to have a clean install of Xcode 27, have it install the iOS 27 SDK and then be able to build and run existing projects? I'm on the release version of macOS 27.0.1 though the problems persisted earlier today on macOS 27.0 as well.

iPhone 17 on iOS 27 cannot connect to a Bluetooth 4.0 BLE peripheral (works on older iPhones with iOS 27)
We have a BLE pulse oximeter (medical device, Bluetooth 4.0 module) that can no longer be connected from iPhone 17 running iOS 27.0.1 and 27.2. CBCentralManager.connect() never results in didConnect or didFailToConnect; the connection stays pending indefinitely. The same accessory works on: iPhone 17 with iOS 26.6.1 iPhone 15 with iOS 27.0.1 iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 26.5.2 The issue also reproduces with nRF Connect and LightBlue, so it does not appear to be specific to our app. Other BLE devices connect normally on the same iPhone 17. PacketLogger traces from iPhone 17 (failing) and iPhone 15 (working) are attached to FB25459075. It is possible that the accessory firmware does not fully follow the Bluetooth specification. However, many units are already in use by patients and may not be firmware-updatable. Questions: Is this a known issue with iPhone 17 on iOS 27? Could Apple consider an interoperability fix, since the same accessory works on iPhone 17 with iOS 26.6.1 and on older iPhone models with iOS 27? Is there any workaround we can apply in our app?

First app submission still “Waiting for Review” since November 5
Hi everyone, I submitted my first app to the App Store on November 5, and App Store Connect still shows “Waiting for Review.” For those who’ve submitted their first app recently, how long did you wait before the status changed to “In Review”? I’d also appreciate any advice on when it makes sense to follow up with App Review. Thanks for sharing your experience!

StoreKit Product.products(for:) / fetchProducts returns empty array for an Approved, correctly-configured auto-renewable subscription — regression since Aug 24, 2026
Our app's auto-renewable subscription (Product ID: istanbul.membership.monthly, Bundle ID: com.mehmetozenen.ustaistanbulapp) has been returning zero products from Product.products(for:) since August 24, 2026, blocking 100% of new iOS subscriptions on our live production app. Verified correct on our side: Subscription status: Approved Paid Applications Agreement: Active (continuously since Feb 2026, no gaps) Territory pricing: set, including Turkey Product ID matches exactly, correct app No changes to Agreements/Tax/Banking around the failure date Steps to reproduce: Call Product.products(for:) (or via react-native-iap's fetchProducts) with SKU istanbul.membership.monthly, type auto-renewable subscription. Result: empty product array, no error thrown. Purchase sheet never appears since there is no product to purchase. Reproduced on: 4+ independent physical iOS devices Multiple different Apple IDs Both Sandbox and Production StoreKit environments (identical failure in both) Both Wi-Fi and cellular networks A historical app build (from before Aug 24) that was never modified and worked correctly as recently as Aug 23 — ruling out any client-side code cause This same product worked correctly as recently as 2026-08-23 (server-side purchase verification log confirms a real successful transaction that day). It broke starting 2026-08-24, with no corresponding change on our end. I've already opened a Developer Technical Support case (Case-ID 21790415) and submitted a full sysdiagnose with reproduction timestamps, but have not received a substantive update in over a week. Posting here in case others have hit the same regression, or in case anyone from Apple can help escalate. Has anyone else seen Product.products(for:) / fetchProducts silently returning empty for an otherwise valid, Approved auto-renewable subscription starting around late August 2026?

Managed asset pack download fails with `PipelineNotFound` at 100 % after the app is backgrounded (iOS 27)
We ship a ~6.2 GB Apple-hosted managed asset pack and request it with AssetPackManager.ensureLocalAvailability(of:). If the app goes to the background even once while the download runs, the transfer continues to the end and then fails with ManagedBackgroundAssetsProcessingPipeline.Dispatcher.PipelineNotFound. The system discards the resume data, and the next attempt starts again from byte 0. What the sysdiagnose shows: On backgrounding, backgroundassets.user logs allows BG activity, pausing any foreground downloads for background demotion and hands the download to nsurlsessiond. On return it logs re-promoted 1 previously-demoted foreground downloads. Each handoff moves the stream to another STExtractionService.privileged instance, which logs No processing pipeline with the ID "…" was found; defaulting to an extraction memory footprint of 50 MB. When the HTTP response ends: [Relay] No endpoint was found for the key "…" (fault) → The stream couldn't be finished: No processing pipeline with the ID "…" was found → Removing the resumption info → the download fails. This happened on every app-requested download that was backgrounded at least once. One run reached 100 % in the foreground and still failed. The only download that ever completed was the system's own prefetch download, which ran entirely in the background with the app never launched. Over one afternoon about 46 GB were downloaded for a single 6.2 GB pack. Questions: Is this a known issue with the demotion/promotion of foreground asset-pack downloads? Is AssetPack.download(for: nil) plus BADownloadManager.scheduleDownload(_:) a supported way to request a managed pack from the app, so the download never gets foreground priority? We're testing it now. Is there any other way to keep a download requested from a foreground app from being demoted? Filed as FB24888599.

Apple Developer Program enrollment stuck on Pending after payment submission — no support response
Hello everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with my Apple Developer Program enrollment and would appreciate any advice or assistance from Apple staff. I enrolled as an individual using my own Apple Account. Apple requested identity verification documents, which I submitted successfully. After verification, I received an email confirming that I could continue the enrollment process. I then entered my payment details using a bank card issued in my own name and received an order confirmation email stating that my order would be processed within two business days. However, my enrollment is still showing “Pending”, and the Developer website continues to display: “Purchase your membership. To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now. Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process.” I cannot currently verify whether the payment was charged, and I don’t want to submit another payment and risk being charged twice. I have already contacted Apple Developer Support, but have not received a response. Phone support is not available for my account or region, so I have no way to speak directly with a representative. Could an Apple representative please help clarify: Is my original payment order still being processed, or has it failed? Why does the enrollment remain Pending after submitting the payment? Should I attempt the purchase again, or could this cause a duplicate charge? Is there any alternative way to contact the enrollment support team when phone support is unavailable? I have completed the requested identity verification and am simply trying to finish the membership activation. Thank you for your help.

First In-App Purchases remain Waiting for Review while macOS app is approved and iPadOS submission is pending
Hello Apple Developer Community and App Store Commerce team, I am looking for guidance on the review workflow for the first In-App Purchases of my app, Capture Link: UVC Monitor (Apple App ID: 6818688239). The first IAPs were submitted on October 5, 2026: Monthly auto-renewable subscription (Apple IAP ID: 6818721468) Non-consumable lifetime unlock (Apple IAP ID: 6818721648) Subscription group (ID: 22435932) Our macOS app (1.0, Build 16) is approved and Ready for Distribution. The current iPadOS app (1.0, Build 17) and both IAPs still show Waiting for Review on November 6. We verified in App Store Connect that the iPadOS review submission submitted November 3 contains the app version, monthly subscription, lifetime unlock, and subscription group. The current statuses show no rejection or developer action required for these items. The Paid Apps Agreement is active, banking is available, tax documents are in use, and IAP metadata and review screenshots have been supplied. We received confirmation of an expedited app review request on November 2. A production user has reported that purchase options cannot be loaded. I understand from an App Store Commerce Engineer reply that unapproved IAPs are not returned to production StoreKit. My questions: Given that the four items are included in the iPadOS review submission, is there any other first-IAP submission requirement we may have missed? Is this combination of states expected while iPadOS Build 17 is still Waiting for Review, or could it indicate a review workflow issue? What diagnostics or details would help Developer Support distinguish a normal queue delay from a stuck first-IAP workflow without withdrawing the existing submission? I have opened formal support inquiries and am seeking technical guidance here rather than requesting a separate expedited review. Thank you for any insight.

Stuck for weeks: 2.3.2 rejection I can't fix (subscription images locked in App Store Connect), and no follow-up from Support
Hi all, I'm trying to stay patient, but I've run out of options and would really appreciate any help, from Apple or from anyone who has been through this. My app's first version with auto-renewable subscriptions has been in review since September. Timeline: Rejected on 4 October (Guideline 3.1.1). Fair enough, fixed and resubmitted on 15 October. Waited 13 days. Rejected on 28 October under Guideline 2.3.2, because my monthly and yearly subscriptions have identical promotional images. App Review asked me to make them unique or delete them. I replied on the submission within 20 minutes. No response, and none to the two follow-up messages I've left there since. The problem is that I can't do what App Review asked. In App Store Connect the image on both subscriptions is locked: no remove (—) option on hover, and the + / upload control doesn't open, in Chrome and Safari, with drag-and-drop too. Apple's docs say removed items can't be added back to the same submission, so I haven't removed the subscriptions. I've deactivated the only offer code, there are no win-back offers, and App Store Promotion was never enabled. New, distinct images are ready to upload. On the support side, I opened case 103005026336 on 28 October. I spoke to someone who was genuinely lovely and said they'd follow up, but that was a week ago and I haven't heard anything since. I've also requested an expedited review and booked an App Review appointment, the earliest available on 10 November. I resubmitted on 30 October with an explanation in the review notes, and it has been "Waiting for Review" ever since. My real question: should I cancel and start a completely fresh submission with new subscription products, and go to the back of the queue again? Or keep waiting? Weeks are turning into months, and the Android version has been approved and waiting the whole time. If anyone from Apple sees this, case 103005026336 is still unresolved, and all I need is the image field unlocked or someone to tell me how to proceed. Thank you.

App Store Review Delays in October 2026 — Is Anyone Else Experiencing This ?
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm a developer preparing my first public App Store release, and I'm wondering if others are experiencing unusually long review delays recently. My app has been in “Waiting for Review” since October 14, 2026, and I haven't received any updates or requests for additional information. I've already contacted Apple Support to ask about the delay, but I haven't received a response yet. The app is available for testing through TestFlight, so I'm wondering whether this is simply a backlog in the App Review queue or if there might be another issue. I'd appreciate hearing from developers who have submitted new apps recently: How long did your app stay in “Waiting for Review” before the review actually started? Have you experienced delays of a week or longer in October 2026? Did contacting App Review Support or requesting an expedited review help? I'm not looking to rush the review unfairly; I just want to understand whether this waiting time is normal and whether there's anything I should do on my side. Any recent experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Just like many others, the review is delayed…
From my understanding, there are many developers experiencing exceeding long app review times, without any feedback or decision being made. As of currently, there is no known major event or announcement that was made in regards to the delay, or when we can expect to possibly hear anything back.. With that being said, I am in need of help for my AppStore Connect Review. If a decision or feedback is temporarily not an option due to the department being temporarily overwhelmed, it would be nice if someone could provide me with a new app processing timeline to accurately reflect the delay... Just so I know when I should become concerned or consider the possibility of my app being stuck in some recipient error. I requested an "expedite" that is more so to highlight the apps current status rather than actually being expedited, FYI but here is that current ticket number to help better identify me and the app in question. CASE ID 30000004085903

Is placing the current view’s title next to the Back button appropriate in an iPhone sheet?
We are reviewing the navigation design of a modal sheet in our iPhone app and would appreciate guidance on the Human Interface Guidelines and adoption of Liquid Glass. The sheet contains a navigation flow. Our proposed header places the current view’s title immediately next to the Back chevron, with a Close button on the trailing side: ┌──────────────────────────────────────────────┐ │ ─── │ │ ‹ Current view title × │ ├──────────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ │ │ Current view content │ │ │ └──────────────────────────────────────────────┘In this example: “Current view title” represents the title of the view currently displayed, not the title of the previous view or the destination of the Back button. The Back button navigates to the previous view within the sheet. The Close button dismisses the entire sheet. The title is intended to be a separate, noninteractive label, rather than part of the Back button’s tappable area. We understand that the traditional UINavigationItem.ItemStyle.navigator layout centers the current view’s title, while the Back button may display the previous view’s title. Our concern is whether the proposed layout could make the current title look like the Back button’s destination label. We have also found the following documentation: HIG: Toolbars — Item groupings describes a leading arrangement where navigation controls are followed by the view title. UINavigationItem.ItemStyle.editor provides a leading-aligned title and a Back chevron, although its documented use case is viewing or editing documents. leftItemsSupplementBackButton allows custom leading items to appear alongside the system Back button. We would like to distinguish technical feasibility from recommended design practice: For a general-purpose iPhone sheet, is this arrangement consistent with the HIG, or is a centered title preferred? Are the leading-title examples above intended primarily for document interfaces or iPad layouts? If this arrangement is appropriate, what visual separation or accessibility treatment is recommended to distinguish the current view’s title from the Back button’s label? When adopting Liquid Glass, what is the recommended way to preserve this arrangement? One implementation we are considering is retaining the system Back button and placing a UILabel in a custom UIBarButtonItem using leftItemsSupplementBackButton. Would this be appropriate, or should we use a different system configuration? Our goal is to preserve the placement of the current title while adopting standard system button appearances and behavior. We do not need to preserve the existing header’s exact background or spacing. Any guidance or relevant official examples would be appreciated.

App "In Review" for 6 days after resubmission
Our app Powerful Progress: Goal Coach (Apple ID 6809707414) was resubmitted on October 31, 2026 after fixing the issues from the previous review (Guidelines 2.1(b), 3.1.1 and 4). It has been "In Review" since then with no messages from App Review. The submission includes version 1.0 (26), a first subscription group with two auto-renewable subscriptions, and a Lifetime In-App Purchase. We also sent an expedite request on November 4. Is there anything we can do or provide to help complete the review? Submission ID: a1b9ab04-923f-45ac-ba61-76dae5046341

Enrollment ID Verification Rejected [102909443552]
I am an individual developer in India. My account was rejected for apple developer program enrolment 3 months ago for no reason at all , and my support ticket has had no response. Left with nothing to do, I tried a second account today, which was also instantly rejected. I need a support manager to escalate my primary case. I've already provided with my government id proofs, and I dunno what else is left to do. I'm stuck, and my application's go live is massively impacted due to this.

Company details change stuck
Hello I am writing this post because I have no idea where else to write. I need to create developer account for my new company in US so I tried creating new icloud account which didn't work for me. I the restarted my developer plan on my old company which took week to review but got it working. I then used the Company details change to fill in the new US company details I need to submit my new app through. I have not received any message from Apple for 3+weeks now also tried messaging support again a week ago linking the old support request id but that got me nowhere. I have built a new startup and I got investors eyes on me and this thing has been blocking me for over a month to have distribution to all platforms. I have the iOS app fully built and tested and polished fully native but can't even get it out to testflight as my account is now in that weird limbo state even tho I paid my 100$ I can't even distribute to testers through testflight. Please I got growing user base and most of them own iphones and are waiting for the app. I need this to be elevated somehow please.

Notification Delivery Issues for Location Push Service Extension
We are currently testing the implementation of our Location Push Service Extension (LPSE) in both Ad Hoc and Release environments. We have encountered an issue where LPSE notifications, which were previously working correctly, suddenly fail to be delivered on some devices. After a period of several hours, the notifications resume arriving, but the issue remains intermittent. Notably, during these periods of suspected delivery restriction, regular push notifications (e.g., those using apns-push-type: alert) are delivered and displayed without any problem. [Detailed Situation] Test Environment and Scope We are testing LPSE after obtaining the necessary entitlements, in both Ad Hoc and Release environments. The issue is not observed on all test devices; only certain devices are affected. Observed Behavior Under normal circumstances, LPSE notifications are received and the extension is activated; however, on some devices the notifications suddenly stop arriving. During these periods, even when sending notifications with apns-push-type: location directly via the CloudKit Push Notification Console, no response is observed on the affected devices. The APNs server (api.push.apple.com) always returns a 200 OK response via HTTP/2, and our server-side logs and configurations (DNS resolution performed on every request, using the same JWT token for 59 minutes per session, communication via HTTP/2 with ALPN Protocol: h2) show no issues. Other app functionalities (network communication, UI responsiveness, etc.) work normally. Sending content When sending notifications from our server to APNs (api.push.apple.com), we use the following configuration (over HTTP/2): const payload = { aps: { 'content-available': 1 } }; const headers = { ':method': 'POST', ':path': /3/device/${apnsToken}, 'Authorization': bearer ${jwtToken}, 'apns-topic': 'ot.Here.location-query', 'apns-priority': '10', 'apns-push-type': 'location', 'Content-Type': 'application/json' }; We perform DNS resolution for every request, use the same JWT token for a 59-minute period per session, and communicate via HTTP/2 with ALPN Protocol: h2. Hypothesis on the Cause We suspect that due to an implementation issue, silent push notifications (using content-available: 1) were being sent every few minutes concurrently, which may have triggered an APNs delivery restriction (rate limiting). As a countermeasure, we have completely stopped sending silent pushes and any other background notifications aside from LPSE; however, the issue persists. Additionally, even after resetting affected devices, the delivery problem continues to occur. [Questions for Diagnosis] Given the above situation, is it reasonable to suspect that excessive silent push notifications have triggered an APNs delivery restriction? Does such a silent push restriction affect LPSE notifications (i.e., those sent with apns-push-type: location)? Do APNs delivery restrictions persist even after a device has been reset? Can a high volume of LPSE notifications alone (without silent pushes) also trigger a delivery restriction? → This is our primary concern since it poses a significant implementation challenge. Please let us know if any additional information is required for diagnosis.

macOS Open Directory: Does ODNodeCreateRecord cleanup preserve concurrent records?
We are designing a local, non-login service account provisioning process on macOS using the public Open Directory API. The documentation for ODNodeCreateRecord() states that if setting an initial attribute fails, the record is deleted and an error is returned. We need to ensure that a failed creation attempt cannot delete or modify a pre-existing record, including during concurrent record creation or replacement. Questions: When attribute initialization fails, is the internal cleanup guaranteed to target only the record instance created by that specific API call, rather than another record with the same name? Is this cleanup bound to a unique record identity or UUID, including if another process concurrently creates, removes, or replaces a record with the same name? Does the public API provide an atomic create-only guarantee that prevents changes to an existing record? If these guarantees are not provided, what supported API or provisioning approach should be used to avoid affecting pre-existing local Directory Services records? Our current plan uses the local /Local/Default Directory Services node for a dedicated service account, administrative change serialization, pre-creation collision checks, and post-operation identity verification. We understand that these checks do not themselves prove atomicity or race-free cleanup. We would appreciate clarification of the supported API guarantees, specifically for macOS 15. Thank you.

App stuck in Waiting for Review since 31 October, expedite granted 3 November
Our app Ring-Ring® (Apple ID 6799744191), version 1.0 (build 1968), with its first in-app subscriptions, has been Waiting for Review since 31 October 2026. An expedited review was granted on 3 November, and we contacted App Review (case 30000003800448). The status has not changed since. The app is live on Google Play with paying members. Could someone from App Review take a look? Thank you.

Thank you.
