Supported Screen Time data access for App Store users in Switzerland
Hello, We are developing an iOS app that helps people review their device use through daily carbon estimates, a garden, local history and Home Screen widgets. All processing stays on the device. We want users to grant permission without choosing each app or entering daily figures. The app has Family Controls distribution approval and the Family Controls App and Website Usage capability. However, the documentation for approvedWithDataAccess describes customer access for a device in the EU with an Apple Account set to an EU country or region. The Apple-provided development profile allows testing in other regions, so we do not treat a successful development test in Switzerland as approval for Swiss customers. Could an Apple engineer clarify the supported design for users located in Switzerland with a Swiss Apple Account? Is there a documented API, entitlement or approval route for direct app-duration access in this situation? If direct access is unavailable, can ordinary individual authorization and DeviceActivityReport show all available activity without an app-by-app picker? Under the report extension's privacy rules, can a daily result be made available to the main app's history and widgets through any supported mechanism, or must it stay inside the report? Do TestFlight installations follow the same regional conditions as App Store installations? We are looking for a design that follows the published access and privacy rules. We do not want to infer missing activity, work around regional restrictions, or treat development access as customer approval. Documentation: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/familycontrols/authorizationstatus/approvedwithdataaccess Thank you for any guidance.

Subscriptions suddenly stopped working in all my apps – StoreKit returns 0 products
Since November 5, in-app subscriptions have suddenly stopped working in all three of my apps on the App Store. Everything worked perfectly before, and no changes were made to the apps. The subscription purchase buttons no longer display prices, only a dash ("–"). Existing apps can still be downloaded normally. I reproduced the problem in Xcode on my own device. StoreKit reports: STOREKIT: Received 0 products STOREKIT: Invalid IDs = ( "TEE_year", "TEE_month", "TEE_week" ) All subscription products are still configured in App Store Connect, and the agreements appear to be active. Interestingly, the problem started around the time I accepted updated Apple agreements and changed my address in my developer account. I don't know whether this is related. Several customers have already independently reported the same problem, so this is not limited to my own device or Apple ID. I strongly suspect an App Store Connect or StoreKit backend issue rather than an app-specific programming error. I've contacted Apple Developer Support (case ID is 30000008123797) but haven't received a solution yet. Has anyone else experienced subscriptions suddenly becoming unavailable across multiple apps? Could this be related to updated agreements or account information?

No response from Developer Support after 5 emails, as a paying Apple Developer Program member
Hello, I’m a paid Apple Developer Program member and I want to share my frustration with Apple Developer Support. I have emailed Developer Support 5 times about my App Store Connect issue and have received no reply at all. My case ID is 30000005720177, but nobody has updated me on it in any way. For a company of Apple’s size, this level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable. I pay for my membership, so I expect at least basic communication. What I think needs to change: Clear status updates: Even if a fix takes time, developers should be told so properly, with an estimated timeline. A real contact person: A case ID alone is not enough. There should be a named person or team we can follow up with. 24/7 live support: Apple has developers in almost every country and time zone. Round-the-clock live support should be standard for a company this big. I’m very disappointed with this experience. If anyone from Apple sees this, I’d really appreciate a response on my case 30000005720177. If other developers have run into the same problem, I’d like to hear how you got a response. Thank you.

Clarification on Declared Age Range Prompt in Texas and Brazil
Hello Apple Developer Forum, We have implemented the Declared Age Range API exactly as described in Apple's documentation. Our implementation checks isEligibleForAgeFeatures before calling requestAgeRange, as recommended. We have been testing with different users located in Texas (US) and Brazil. However, for all users, isEligibleForAgeFeatures consistently returns false, so the Declared Age Range prompt is never displayed. We would appreciate some clarification on the following: Under what conditions does isEligibleForAgeFeatures return true? When is the Declared Age Range prompt expected to be shown? Besides the user's region, are there any additional eligibility requirements, such as whether the Apple ID has a verified payment method (credit/debit card), verified identity or address, account age or a phased rollout? Since all of our test users are in supported regions (Texas and Brazil), we expected at least some users to be eligible. However, all four test accounts consistently return false. Could you please clarify how Apple determines eligibility for the Declared Age Range feature and when developers should expect the prompt to appear? Thank you for your guidance.

Need help with my developer account - My app disappeared from App Store
Hi, I'm having an issue, My app has disappeared from the app store all of a sudden without any email or warning, when I checked my account, App Store connect says Pending Agreement on my app but on the same page it says my membership has expired even tho its been only 2 or 3 months since I purchsed apple developer account. Current status shown in App Store Connect: "Developer Program Membership Expired" – my apps have been removed from the App Store "Pending Agreement" – the updated Developer Program License Agreement cannot be signed The core problem: I purchased my Apple Developer Program membership only about 2 or 3 months ago, so it cannot legitimately have expired. I have received no email notification about any membership expiration or agreement change. Despite this, the system now shows my membership as expired and my app has been removed. Most importantly, there is no renewal button and no agreement accept button anywhere in my account (developer website or App Store Connect), so I cannot resolve this myself. This appears to be a system error on Apple's side, not an actual expiration. What I have already tried: Checked the Membership section on developer.apple.com/account — no renewal option Checked App Store Connect Agreements section — no agreement to accept Checked App Store subscription management Contacted Apple Developer Support by email multiple times — no response received Please help.

Developer account blocked – no response from Developer Support on two cases
Hello, My Apple Developer Program account has been blocked and I’m unable to submit builds and use TestFlight. The message I see is: “could not install APP NAME. The requested app is not available or doesn't exist.”. I contacted Apple Developer Program Support on 27 October and again on 31 October. I resubmitted each case on 1 and 6 November. I’ve only received the automated confirmations and no reply from an advisor, even though the stated response time is two business days. I have several apps in active development and review, so this is blocking all my work. I haven’t received any email explaining why the account was restricted or asking for more information. Could someone from Apple Developer Support please look into these cases or tell me how to escalate? Has anyone else had their account blocked recently, and how was it resolved? Thank you.

Managed asset pack download fails with `PipelineNotFound` at 100 % after the app is backgrounded (iOS 27)
We ship a ~6.2 GB Apple-hosted managed asset pack and request it with AssetPackManager.ensureLocalAvailability(of:). If the app goes to the background even once while the download runs, the transfer continues to the end and then fails with ManagedBackgroundAssetsProcessingPipeline.Dispatcher.PipelineNotFound. The system discards the resume data, and the next attempt starts again from byte 0. What the sysdiagnose shows: On backgrounding, backgroundassets.user logs allows BG activity, pausing any foreground downloads for background demotion and hands the download to nsurlsessiond. On return it logs re-promoted 1 previously-demoted foreground downloads. Each handoff moves the stream to another STExtractionService.privileged instance, which logs No processing pipeline with the ID "…" was found; defaulting to an extraction memory footprint of 50 MB. When the HTTP response ends: [Relay] No endpoint was found for the key "…" (fault) → The stream couldn't be finished: No processing pipeline with the ID "…" was found → Removing the resumption info → the download fails. This happened on every app-requested download that was backgrounded at least once. One run reached 100 % in the foreground and still failed. The only download that ever completed was the system's own prefetch download, which ran entirely in the background with the app never launched. Over one afternoon about 46 GB were downloaded for a single 6.2 GB pack. Questions: Is this a known issue with the demotion/promotion of foreground asset-pack downloads? Is AssetPack.download(for: nil) plus BADownloadManager.scheduleDownload(_:) a supported way to request a managed pack from the app, so the download never gets foreground priority? We're testing it now. Is there any other way to keep a download requested from a foreground app from being demoted? Filed as FB24888599.

iOS – Custom voice keyword detection when iPhone is locked
Hello, I am currently working on an iOS app and studying the feasibility of a custom voice detection feature. The user might set up a secret voice keyword (a custom word or phrase). When this keyword is spoken, even when the iPhone is locked and stored in a pocket, the application would automatically trigger an action. My questions are: Can an iOS app continuously detect a custom voice keyword when running in the background and iPhone is locked? Is there an officially supported and App Store compatible method to perform this detection locally, without recording or transmitting audio? Can an application automatically trigger an action following this detection? Would using AVAudioSession and the audio mode in the background be an acceptable solution for this use case? Are there any Apple frameworks suitable for this type of feature? I would be particularly interested in feedback from Apple engineers or developers who have experimented with similar features. Thank you in advance for your help.

Watch Ultra 2: How Do I list my app on Auto-Launch Settings
I'm developing a watchOS app for Watch Ultra 2 that implements water detection using CMSubmersionManager. I would like to make it appear in the Auto-Launch settings menu, but my app is not appearing in the settings (Settings > General > Auto-Launch > When Submerged > Selected App).... What additional steps should I take to make this work? Environment Device: Watch Ultra 2 watchOS: 11.2 Xcode: 16.0 Implementation I have implemented the following as per documentation: Added the Shallow Depth and Pressure capability and Entitlement. Added the "Shallow Depth and Pressure" capability Confirmed entitlement "com.apple.developer.submerged-shallow-depth-and-pressure" was automatically added Note: I initially thought I should use "com.apple.developer.submerged-depth-and-pressure" (without "-shallow") since I'm targeting a maximum depth of 6 meters, but this resulted in compilation errors. ref: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/740083 ref: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/735296 Added NSMotionUsageDescription and WKBackgroundModes <key>NSMotionUsageDescription</key> <string>Required for water detection</string> <key>WKBackgroundModes</key> <array> <string>underwater-depth</string> </array> According to the documentation: "It also adds your app to the list of apps that the system can autolaunch when the wearer submerges the watch." What additional steps are needed to make the app appear in Auto-Launch settings? Has anyone successfully implemented this feature?

AlarmKit alarm is silent when another alarm rings in the same minute
My app, Morrow (bundle ID com.wakemorrow.Morrow), is an alarm app built on AlarmKit. When its alarm is scheduled for the same minute as an alarm in the Clock app, one or both can stay silent. Apps can't see each other's alarms, so my app can't detect or prevent this. This is bad because users might get no alarm in the morning and sleep in! What I've seen: On October 26, a Clock alarm and my alarm rang in the same second. The full screen alert showed only the Clock alarm, and Stop only reached it. My alarm stayed "alerting" with no sound until that night. On October 29, two of my own alarms in the same minute both stayed silent. A customer reports my alarm never rang on any morning while they had another alarm set at the same time. Expected: both alarms sound, or the second rings after the first is stopped. People rely on alarms to wake up, and many keep a backup alarm. Questions: Is there any supported way for my app to know that another alarm is set for the same time, such as a Clock alarm or one from another app? Even a simple yes or no for a given time would let me warn the person before it happens. If there isn't one, could AlarmKit add it, or could it report when my alarm was silenced by another alarm? Is this silent behavior intended? Is there a supported way to make sure an AlarmKit alarm is heard when another alarm rings in the same minute? I plan to schedule a second alarm about 2 minutes later, and cancel it when the first is stopped. Is that safe and allowed, and will it be heard if the first was silenced? (Not an Ideal fix)

iOS 27: domain-bound SMS one-time codes are not offered in an associated app ("Could not fetch application record"), worked on iOS 26.6 and 18
Since iOS 27.0, domain-bound SMS one-time codes are no longer offered above the keyboard in our app, where the code is entered on a web page in a WKWebView, although the app is associated with the domain through webcredentials. The same SMS is offered in Safari on the same device, and it is offered in our app on iOS 26.6 and iOS 18. SMS format (last line per the domain-bound code format): Your verification code is: 123456 @app.example.com #123456Setup Several builds of the same app with different bundle IDs (App Store, internal, development), all under one team Entitlement com.apple.developer.associated-domains: webcredentials:app.example.com (plus two more environments of the same domain) AASA at https://app.example.com/.well-known/apple-app-site-association: 200, application/json, no redirect, same content on app-site-association.cdn-apple.com: {"webcredentials":{"apps":["TEAMID.com.example.app","TEAMID.com.example.app.internal","TEAMID.com.example.app.dev"]}} The code field is an in a WKWebView showing a page on that domain. We also tested a native field with the one-time-code content type (the app is built with Flutter; the field is a Flutter TextField with the one-time-code autofill hint). Steps Open the verification page in the app and focus the code field. Receive the SMS above. Expected: the code is offered in the QuickType bar, as it is in Safari on the same domain and as it is in our app on iOS 26.6 and iOS 18. Actual: nothing is offered. The keyboard log: kbd Received verification code from Messages kbd One Time Code field has been entered. kbd Retrieving Current One-Time Codes for App kbd Current verification code is domain-bound to <mask.hash: '…'>. kbd Domain-bound verification code is NOT valid for app <mask.hash: 'X'>. E kbd Could not fetch application record for application identifier: <mask.hash: 'X'>. kbd Returning 0 available one-time codesWhat we checked swcd downloads the AASA for all domains without errors after a reinstall. The installed app's entitlements (read from the device) contain the expected application-identifier and associated domains; the profile is validated. The failure is the same in the WKWebView field and in a native one-time-code field, in the App Store build, a distribution-signed internal build and a development build, and in an older app version that used to work. The masked application identifier in the log (X above) is the same for two builds with different bundle IDs, so the lookup does not seem to use the app's bundle ID. All our builds share CFBundleExecutable = Runner (the Flutter default) and the same CFBundleName. The same app build and the same SMS work on iOS 26.6 and iOS 18.x, so the change happened between iOS 26.6 and 27.0. An SMS without the @domain #code line is offered in the app on iOS 27 (Returning 1 available one-time code), although Could not fetch application record is still logged. Questions Is this a known iOS 27 regression, or is there a new requirement for apps to receive domain-bound codes? What application identifier does the keyboard use for this lookup, and can anything in the app's configuration (for example the executable name) affect it? Device: iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 27.0

Mac Catalyst: outgoing CallKit call opens FaceTime and turns on the camera
We're bringing our CallKit-based VoIP app to the Mac with Mac Catalyst. Incoming calls work fine. For outgoing calls we request a CXStartCallAction (audio only, isVideo = false), the provider fulfills it and the call connects. But at the moment the call starts dialing, macOS launches FaceTime.app, which turns on the camera preview and shows its own call screen for our call ("no video"). When the call ends, FaceTime stays open and the camera stays on until FaceTime is quit manually. The system log shows callservicesd deciding to launch the in-call application for our call: callservicesd _shouldLaunchInCallApplicationForCall: 1 callservicesd Opening URL: <private> for call <private> CoreServicesUIAgent LAUNCH: ... com.apple.FaceTime starting stopped process.Reported as FB25284357 (macOS 27.0.1, Xcode 27.1). Is this expected for third-party CallKit providers on macOS? Is there a supported way to keep the call in our own app without dropping CallKit for outgoing calls?

CallKit VoIP call on the receiver: the side (lock) button only locks the screen, no CXEndCallAction is delivered
Device and versions iPhone 15, iOS 27.0.1 App: Hush, a private messenger. Capacitor 8.5.2 iOS app; the UI is a web page in a WKWebView. Call signalling runs in the page; call audio runs in a native Swift Capacitor plugin on stasel/WebRTC 154.0.0, integrated with CallKit. Built on Codemagic with the latest Xcode, distributed through TestFlight. UIBackgroundModes: audio, voip. No PushKit yet: calls are placed and answered in the app's own screen while it is in the foreground. Setup RTCAudioSession manual audio (useManualAudio = true). isAudioEnabled is set only after ICE connects AND provider(_:didActivate:) is called (a 3-second fallback exists but never fired in these tests). We call RTCAudioSession.audioSessionDidActivate / audioSessionDidDeactivate from the provider delegate. Session: playAndRecord, mode voiceChat, options allowBluetoothHFP, no defaultToSpeaker. overrideOutputAudioPort is only called when the user picks Speaker (never in the failing tests). One CXProvider, created lazily, delegate on the main queue. Configuration: supportsVideo false (also tested true), maximumCallGroups 1, maximumCallsPerCallGroup 1, supportedHandleTypes [.generic], includesCallsInRecents false (also tested true). Outgoing: CXStartCallAction is requested via CXCallController when ICE first connects (not at dial time; the page plays its own ringback until then), handle generic, value "Hush". In perform(CXStartCallAction) we configure the audio session (no activation), reportCall(with:updated:), fulfil, then reportOutgoingCall(startedConnectingAt:) and (connectedAt:). Answering side: reportNewIncomingCall, then an immediate CXAnswerCallAction (the user already accepted in the app's screen). Mute: CXSetMutedCallAction. In-app End reported the call with reportCall(with:endedAt:reason: .remoteEnded) in all tests below (we are changing this to a CXEndCallAction request; not yet tested). Proximity: isProximityMonitoringEnabled = true from dialling while on the receiver. The screen does go dark at the ear. Also tested with our proximity monitoring off. The problem With a Hush call live, route Receiver, CallKit holding the call (the system call UI shows it), didActivate delivered exactly once, our audio running inside that activation, proximity on and the screen dark at the ear: pressing the side button only locks the screen. No CXEndCallAction arrives and the call continues. In the Phone app on the same iPhone the side button ends the call at the ear. Snapchat calls on this iPhone end on the side button while Snapchat's call screen is open. What works: End on the system lock-screen call UI delivers a CXEndCallAction and we end the call. Mute from the system UI arrives as CXSetMutedCallAction. So provider delegate delivery works. What we tried, in order (each tested on device, with a readout of the plugin's state after the call) First CallKit build: side button did nothing; lock-screen End worked. Readout: "CallKit off, its audio off (0x), fallback no, route speaker, proximity on". Cause: CXStartCallAction was refused (missing voip background mode) and the error swallowed. Fixed: voip added; on CXErrorCodeRequestTransactionError.unknownCallProvider we invalidate and recreate the provider and retry once. Next build: CallKit held the call, didActivate once, route Receiver. Side button still did nothing, no CXEndCallAction. Our route log showed two route changes caused by our own overrideOutputAudioPort(.none) on every activation and route change. Removed: no override unless Speaker is selected. Result: no change. Diagnostic switches, tested in combinations: our proximity monitoring on/off; supportsVideo false/true; includesCallsInRecents false/true; callee now reported with reportNewIncomingCall + CXAnswerCallAction (previously both sides used CXStartCallAction). Result: the side button ended the call EXACTLY ONCE: the first call after the provider was recreated (changing supportsVideo makes us invalidate() and create a new CXProvider). Every later call with the same configuration failed. Readout for the failures: "CallKit on, its audio on (1x), fallback no, route Receiver, proximity on", screen dark at the ear. Following thread 837211 (creating a provider implicitly pushes the audio session ID to callservicesd, which can keep a stale one; set the configuration before reporting each call): we now assign provider.configuration = a fresh CXProviderConfiguration at call start and again immediately before each CXStartCallAction request / reportNewIncomingCall. We also added a switch that recreates the CXProvider for every call. With the re-push alone: no end action. With a fresh provider every call: no end action either. Readout each time: "provider calls 1, config re-pushed yes, CallKit on, its audio on (1x), route Receiver, proximity on". The single success in step 3 has not been reproduced. Not tried on purpose: detecting the lock ourselves (protectedDataWillBecomeUnavailable arrives about 10 seconds late and needs a passcode; a 2017 thread says Home and Lock cannot be told apart); reporting the CallKit call at dial time instead of ICE connect; PushKit. Threads we relied on 819363 (April 2026): the lock button hangs up a CallKit call handled directly by the device (not through a headset), delivered as the provider's end action. 837211 (August 2026): stale audio session ID in callservicesd after provider creation; set the configuration before reporting a call. How we differ from apps where it works WKWebView: WebKit's GPU process holds a second AVAudioSession in our app's name. During the call the page captures no mic (the plugin owns it); before connect the page plays a Web Audio ringback (Ambient category). The CallKit call starts at ICE connect, not at dial time. In-app End reported as .remoteEnded rather than requested as a CXEndCallAction. The callee's immediate CXAnswerCallAction after reportNewIncomingCall. Questions Which conditions must hold for iOS to treat the side button as "end call" for a CallKit call, and which is our app failing? Is there a log subsystem or category (callservicesd, TelephonyUtilities) we can read in a sysdiagnose to see why the press is handled as lock? Could WebKit's GPU-process audio session in the same app confuse CallKit about which session carries the call? Would reporting the call at dial time, before any audio, change the outcome? Can ending the in-app call with reportCall(.remoteEnded) instead of a CXEndCallAction leave state in callservicesd that affects the NEXT call? That would fit "works once after a fresh provider, never again". We have no Mac. Is a sysdiagnose captured on the iPhone right after a failing press enough to diagnose this? If you need a project, we can provide the plugin's Swift source (one file) and the Capacitor app project that Codemagic builds.

iOS 27 — Call Directory blocking overridden by Contacts or outgoing Recents?
We are developing GateCall, an iOS application that uses a Call Directory extension to maintain a private, user-selected list of blocked telephone numbers. We are seeking clarification about Call Directory blocking precedence on iOS 27.0.1, particularly when a number exists in Contacts or outgoing Recents. Test environment Physical iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 27.0.1. Call Directory extension enabled in Settings. Blocking entry: a valid Canadian telephone number normalized to E.164 and submitted as an Int64. CXCallDirectoryManager.reloadExtension returned successful completion. The application reported synchronization of one blocking entry. Actual extension-loaded entry count has not been independently verified. Observed sequence — November 1, 2026 The target number was initially present in iPhone Contacts. At 2:01 PM, the application reported successful Call Directory synchronization. At 2:06 PM, the iPhone placed an outgoing call to the target number. At 2:16 PM, an incoming cellular call from the same number caused the iPhone to ring. The call subsequently appeared in Phone → Recents as a missed call. We reviewed the September 2025 Apple DTS discussion: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/800415 That discussion describes a caller-information priority hierarchy and changes in iOS 26 affecting outgoing Recents. Questions Does iOS 27.0.1 intentionally prioritize Contacts and outgoing Recents over explicit blocking entries supplied by a third-party Call Directory extension? Is there a supported public API or configuration that allows a user-selected Call Directory block to take precedence over those sources? Is this priority behaviour documented or expected to change in future iOS releases? Is there a supported diagnostic mechanism to verify which blocking entries were actually loaded by iOS, beyond successful extension reload completion? We understand that a successful reload does not independently prove that a particular number was loaded or that Call Directory caused the observed behaviour. Our objective is to implement accurate, user-controlled blocking and avoid claiming protection that the operating system cannot guarantee. Any clarification from Apple DTS or developers with recent iOS 27 experience would be appreciated.

iOS 27: system-wide registered fonts disappear from Settings > General > Fonts after every reboot
Hello, We ship a font provider app that installs fonts system-wide on iOS, delivering the font files through On-Demand Resources. Since iOS 27 shipped, customers have been reporting that their installed fonts vanish from the system font list after every restart. I would like to know whether the restore path for system-wide font registrations changed in iOS 27, and what a font provider app is expected to do after a device reboot. Environment iOS 27.0 and 27.0.0 only. We have no reports on iOS 26 or earlier. iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Fonts delivered through On-Demand Resources and registered for system-wide installation using CoreText Steps to reproduce Activate a font in the app. It appears in Settings > General > Fonts. Reboot the device. Without launching the app, open Settings > General > Fonts. The font is gone. The app still shows the font as active, because it keeps its own activation state. Deactivate and reactivate the font in the app. It comes back. Reboot again. It disappears again. This happens on every reboot. It also happens with a single font activated, and it persists after updating or reinstalling the app. Because the font is missing from the system font list, it is also missing in other apps that use system fonts. What we have ruled out Not low storage. These are new devices with plenty of free space. The documented purge trigger for On-Demand Resources is low storage, which does not explain a result this consistent. Not a crash. Our crash data for the affected app version shows no elevated crash rate on iOS 27 compared to iOS 18. Not specific to one font or one app version. Questions Did the restore path for system-wide font registrations change in iOS 27? Are registrations that reference files inside On-Demand Resources still restored at boot? If a font provider app now has to re-register after a reboot, when and how should it do that? There is no natural launch point, since someone may use the font in another app without opening ours first. Is there a supported way for the app to detect that a font it installed is no longer present in the system font list, so it can repair the registration quietly? Context We deliver several thousand fonts this way, and Apple increased our On-Demand Resources limit for that reason (Case-ID 17273913, December 2025). On-Demand Resources is deprecated as of iOS 27. We have separately confirmed that fonts delivered through Background Assets cannot be registered system-wide: registration fails with CTFontManagerErrorDomain code 306, both from the Background Assets container and after copying the files into the app sandbox, because CoreText requires the file to sit inside the app bundle or On-Demand Resources. We have a separate question open about that migration path, so this post is only about the reboot behavior on iOS 27. Happy to provide a sysdiagnose from an affected device and a sample project. Thank you.

Maximum size of an Apple-hosted Managed Background Assets pack
I'm developing an iOS app that uses Apple-hosted Managed Background Assets to deliver regional offline mapping datasets. According to Apple's documentation, the limits are 200 GB of hosted data and 200 asset packs per app. However, I couldn't find a documented maximum size for an individual managed asset pack. Our use case requires automatic, on-demand downloads of geographic datasets, typically between 50 MB and 500 MB, depending on the region. I have a few questions: Is there a maximum compressed or uncompressed size for an individual Apple-hosted Managed Background Assets pack? Are on-demand downloads of 100–500 MB packs supported over Wi-Fi and cellular networks? Are there any additional restrictions on large packs, such as download frequency, storage requirements or background delivery policies? Can these packs be downloaded automatically when a user enters a new geographic region, without requiring the user to select or manually download the pack? I'm specifically asking about Managed Background Assets, not the legacy On-Demand Resources system. Any clarification from an Apple engineer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Can bringing two iPhones together automatically display a custom profile card?
I’m evaluating an offline profile-card app for iPhone users in the United States. After installation and initial user consent, bringing two iPhones together should automatically display each person’s custom card, containing favorite musicians and their willingness to socialize. Requirements: Neither person needs to open the app before the interaction. The exchange works without internet. No QR codes or external NFC tags are involved. The card appears automatically, rather than requiring a notification tap to open it. Is this supported by any public iOS API or available entitlement? Could NFC & SE Platform support this non-payment use case? If unsupported, which requirement is the blocker? Please distinguish background/suspended apps from apps that the user has force-quit. Thank you.

Thank you.
