Individual enrollment – Turkish ID rejected, Enroll button disabled, no reply to case 103008001516 (Türkiye)

Hello,

I am an individual developer from Türkiye trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program.

What happened:

  • On October 25, I started an Individual enrollment in the Apple Developer app.
  • I scanned clear photos of the front and back of my Turkish national ID card (T.C. Kimlik Kartı).
  • Shortly after, the status changed to "ID Verification Rejected" and the Enroll button became disabled. I cannot retry verification or start a new enrollment.
  • I opened support case 103008001516 the same day. I only received the automatic confirmation, and my follow-up reply has not been answered either.

Details:

  • Region: Türkiye
  • Enrollment type: Individual
  • Document submitted: Turkish national ID card
  • Two-factor authentication: enabled
  • VPN: not used
  • I have not created any other Apple Accounts or enrollments.

Possible cause: my name contains a Turkish character (ü). My ID shows "SÜLEYMAN" on the front and "SULEYMAN" in the machine-readable zone on the back. I suspect a name mismatch may have caused the rejection.

What I am asking:

  1. Could my case be routed to the enrollment / identity verification team for a manual review?
  2. Should my Apple Account name use the Turkish spelling or the Latin spelling from the ID's machine-readable zone?

I am happy to provide any documents Apple requires. I am not asking to bypass verification, only for a supported way to complete it.

Thank you,
Süleyman
