Seems like Apple is providing no support for W-8BEN-E Tax Form related issues, i've been waiting for 2 Months now.

Hey I noticed that you created this ticket in July, did they fix it for you ? what situation are you in, as on the forum there are many people like you, im also waiting for Apple response for about over a month now, Please share any important details that you have. Thanks

Exactly the same situation here. I'm an Indian citizen and Australian permanent resident, but Apple has incorrectly locked my W-8BEN citizenship field to Australia. I've been trying to resolve this for almost two months, with no meaningful response or resolution from Apple Finance Support. My apps are ready, but I still can't publish them as paid apps because of this issue. It's frustrating having to check my inbox every day for something that we can't correct ourselves. Please keep us updated if you find a solution. So much mental stress.

I have the Same issue, i have been waiting for a month after mentioning this issue, created 3 tickets and spoke to online help also , no resolution so far. How do we resolve this. I am an Indian Citizen and Permanent resident of Australia, why woud the metadata be wrongly locked. As apple account region is required for residents, but residents might not be the Citizens.
