11 Days in “Waiting for Review” — No Response from Apple Support. Is This Acceptable Developer Support?
Hey Apple Developer Relations, App Review Team, and anyone else reading this,I wanted to share what’s been going on with my app because I’m honestly stuck and not sure what else to do.I’m an indie developer working on Marque: Car Collection — my first iOS app. I paid for the Developer Program, spent a lot of time getting everything ready, fixed the issues from the previous rejection, and submitted a new build. It’s been over a week now and I still have no idea what’s happening with it.Quick timeline: Oct 6: My previous submission got rejected under Guideline 5.1.2(i) (App Tracking Transparency). Oct 14: I submitted a fixed build, version 1.1.0 (24), with an updated ATT implementation, revised App Privacy details, and detailed notes explaining the changes. Since then (11 days as of Oct 25): It’s been sitting in “Waiting for Review” and hasn’t even moved to “In Review.” I’ve contacted Developer Support and asked on the forums, but I haven’t gotten any real answers. No one has asked for more information, explained what’s going on, or given me any idea when the review might actually start.I get that reviews can take longer sometimes, especially with a first app, subscriptions, or privacy-related stuff. I’m not asking anyone to just approve it without looking at it.What bothers me is the complete lack of communication. Right now I have no way of knowing: whether my build is just waiting in the normal queue or if something’s wrong with it when I can realistically plan a launch if there’s any point in contacting support again since I haven’t gotten a useful response so far I’m still paying for the Developer Program, but I have zero visibility into what’s happening with my submission.Apple holds developers to high standards. It would be nice to get at least basic transparency in return. So I have a few straightforward questions: Why has my corrected build been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for 11 days? Is there any way to confirm it’s properly in the queue and not stuck because of some technical or admin issue? Why hasn’t my support request gotten a real response? Is there an escalation path for indie developers when a submission just sits there with no explanation? If Apple can’t provide a status update, what options do developers have when they’re paying for the program but can’t get any information about their release? I’d really appreciate it if someone from Developer Relations or App Review could take a look and give me some kind of explanation (or point me to someone who can).I’d also be interested to hear from other developers who’ve dealt with similar long waits in “Waiting for Review,” especially with first apps. The issue isn’t just that the review is taking longer than expected. It’s that when something seems off, there’s almost no way to figure out what’s actually going on.Indie developers put a lot of time, money, and effort into building for Apple’s ecosystem. Clear communication shouldn’t be this hard. Thanks for reading. Marque Development Team

8 Days in “Waiting for Review” After Resubmission — No Response from Apple Developer Support
Hello Apple App Review Team and fellow developers, I am an independent developer working on my first public iOS release, Marque: Car Collection, and I am becoming increasingly concerned about the lack of progress and communication regarding my submission. Submission details: App: Marque: Car Collection Bundle ID: app.marque.collect Version: 1.1.0 (Build 24) Resubmitted: October 14, 2026 Current status: Waiting for Review Time waiting: 8 days Submission ID: b37a9421-6980-4708-a396-dd33df072f14 Our previous submission was rejected under Guideline 5.1.2(i), related to App Tracking Transparency. We addressed the reported issue, implemented the ATT authorization flow, updated our App Privacy disclosures, uploaded a corrected build, and provided detailed Review Notes explaining how to verify the changes. The current submission also includes our Marque+ monthly and annual subscription products. Eight days have now passed, and the submission has not moved to “In Review”. During this period: I contacted Apple Developer Support to ask whether additional information was required. I raised the issue on the Apple Developer Forums. I checked App Store Connect regularly for messages or outstanding actions. Unfortunately, I have not received a meaningful response or explanation, and no additional information has been requested. I understand that some submissions require additional verification, particularly first-time releases. I respect the review process and am fully prepared to cooperate with any requirements. However, the lack of communication makes it extremely difficult to plan a release or understand whether the submission is progressing normally. Could someone from the Apple App Review team please clarify: Is this submission correctly queued for review? Is there any outstanding issue or verification requirement that has not been communicated? Can the current submission or existing support request be escalated for a status check? Is any further action required from my side? I am not requesting an exception to the App Review Guidelines. I am simply asking for visibility into the status of a submission that has remained untouched for more than a week. I would sincerely appreciate a response from an Apple representative. Thank you, Marque Development Team

App resubmission stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 4 days — is this normal?
Hello everyone, I'm an independent developer preparing the first public iOS release of my app, Marque: Car Collection. My initial submission was rejected under Guideline 5.1.2(i) because of an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) implementation issue. I addressed the reported issue, updated the privacy consent flow and App Privacy disclosures, and uploaded a new build. Current submission details: App: Marque: Car Collection Platform: iOS New binary: 1.1.0 (Build 24) Resubmission date: October 14, 2026 Current status: Waiting for Review Time waiting: Approximately 4 days The submission also includes two auto-renewable subscription products (monthly and annual), which are both waiting for review. I have provided updated Review Notes explaining the ATT implementation and instructions for accessing the app's functionality. There have been no additional messages from App Review since the resubmission. I understand that review times can vary, especially for first-time releases and submissions requiring additional verification. My questions: Is a four-day wait at the "Waiting for Review" stage relatively common for a first public release following a privacy-related rejection? Could the inclusion of new subscription products affect the review timeline? At what point would you recommend contacting App Review Support about the delay? Would cancelling and resubmitting be counterproductive in this situation? I'm not looking to bypass the review process — I simply want to understand whether this is normal and whether any action is needed on my side. Thank you for any advice or experiences you can share.

App Review pending for over a week after resubmission — no response from Developer Support
Hello, I’m looking for some guidance regarding an App Store review that appears to be stuck after resubmission. Our app, Marque: Car Collection, was initially reviewed and rejected because the App Store metadata was missing a functional Terms of Use link. We corrected the issue by adding the Terms of Use URL to the App Store metadata and replied to App Review confirming the change. The same app version/build was resubmitted for review on September 28, 2026. It has now been more than a week, and there has been no further update from App Review. I also contacted Apple Developer Program Support regarding the delay, but I have not received a response yet. The original rejection required only a metadata correction, and no new binary was submitted. Is this review time normal after a metadata-related resubmission, or is there another appropriate way to ask Apple to check whether the submission is stuck in the review queue? I am not requesting an expedited review — I would simply like to confirm that the submission is still progressing normally and that no further action is required from our side. Thank you for any guidance. Sep 28 — metadata corrected Sep 28 — resubmitted for review Oct 5 — still waiting, no review update Developer Support contacted — no response yet

Apple Developer Program enrollment stuck on Pending after successful payment — Case 102964975487
Hello, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an Individual and completed the USD 99 membership purchase on September 15, 2026. The payment was successfully processed, and I received both the Apple order confirmation and invoice. However, more than 48 hours later: my Apple Developer account still shows the enrollment as Pending; the portal still displays “Purchase your membership” and asks me to complete the purchase again; I do not have access to an active Developer Program team; Xcode only shows my Personal Team, so it cannot create the required provisioning profile for the app because Sign in with Apple is enabled. I already contacted Apple Developer Support about 24 hours ago: Case ID: 102964975487 Enrollment ID: S4GNUQR7J6 Order Number: D005232549 Invoice Number: MD06813808 I have not submitted another payment because the existing USD 99 purchase has already been completed. Has anyone experienced the same situation recently, or could Apple Developer Support please confirm whether my case is already under review or requires any additional verification? Thank you.
