Reply to Best path for a 14-year-old student to begin Swift development using an iPad
At what stage would access to Xcode on a Mac become necessary? IMHO, to start with. If you can afford a Mac, that's much better than using iPad. As long as your daughter does not publish on the appstore (but can still load her apps on devices, her iPhone or iPad), that's for free, no need for a paid developer licence (the Mac is not free unfortunately, but there are some not too expensive machines). So Mac + Xcode is not necessary, but so much better.   Are there recommended Swift Coding Clubs, education programs She will have this forum for help. If she follows the good advices from Quinn https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/706527, she will get incredible support.   first year if she eventually wants to participate in the Swift Student Challenge? Take care not to put the bar too high. Doing so in the first year may be too challenging and even discouraging. As Quinn said, more important to know what she would really like to develop, why she wants to develop than trying to participate to the challenge on her first year of practice.

Reply to Submission stuck 12 days after replying to a Guideline 2.1 information request
I understand how frustrating it is.   I almost want to pull the submission and resubmit the app, but everything I am reading says not to do that. Don't do that, it may at least add delays at worse block the submission.   That points toward a queue issue rather than anything specific to an individual submission. Most likely. However, your app is in a sensitive domain (Health) and was rejected at first. That may add further investigation. We don't know how submissions are ordered. Is it the simplest first ? Meaning that those like yours are treated later "when they have some time" ? Please let the forum know when it is solved and don't forget to close the thread then. Good luck.

Reply to Best practices
Welcome to the forum Lexie. Asking for best practices generally is a bit too vague. Do you speak of app architecture, data management, UI design, on framework to use (UIKit or SwiftUI), language (Swift, ObjC), Swift code writing… I understand you are a seasoned developer, so this material may be useful, but may be not fully answering your question: https://developer.apple.com/pathways/?cid=ht-pathways Otherwise, a best practice is to ask on the forum when you wonder what you should do. Look at this to best formulate your questions: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/706527

Reply to App stuck in "Waiting for Review" for almost a week
Has anyone else noticed longer queue times recently? If you browse the forum, you'll see lsome experienced onger delays, even for app updates   Is there a recommended way to check on status beyond just waiting, or to nudge the review team without risking a rejection? No. They are already overflowed by app submissions (thanks to AI generated apps). All you can do is hope that your post is read, but there are so many…   At what point does it make sense to reach out to Apple Developer Support directly? IMHO, at no point. They are not a channel to the review team. Unfortunately, just have to wait. Please, let the forum know when your waiting ends and close the thread. Good luck. PS: I went on Appstore to see your app. Surprisingly, the screenshots are in norvegian, not localised.

Reply to App Store shows wrong language
I searched your app on the (French) appstore. It does find some Jussieu Secours, but that seem to be a different one, a medicine app, not a travel one as you show, named "Ma vie d'…" So it seems your app (if Jussieu secours is its name) is not available on the store, neither in French, English or whatsoever. Please provide more precise information.

Reply to Should SDK developers use UserDefaults?
There is no risk (of course, designers thought of it), as user defaults are stored in different domains, and there is one for each app, another for system. Question is not only specific SDK and app, but between any apps More details here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/userdefaults To integrate settings from different sources, the defaults system organizes them into domains. An app defines its own custom settings, but the system defines settings that apply to all apps. Don't forget to close the thread if that answers your question.

Welcome to the forum.   i'm not sure that i'm missing. You're missing at least providing information. Just posting "it doesn't work" is really useless. Please, post question that can be understood. Otherwise, don't expect any help. You should read and apply advices from this post https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/706527 and then reformulate your question. When precisely do you get this error ?

Reply to Indentation in SwiftUI?
A personal opinion. That's an example why I find SwiftUI problematic, compared to UIKit or WatchKit when you want precise control. It's like trying to make lace with boxing gloves 😢
