Reply to Is it possible to remove the 3 1024x1024 app icon pngs from assets catalog for apps with Icon Composer app icons?
How can I "bypass the Assets.car file entirely"? I guess what I'm asking then is how to remove the Assets.car file from being bundled into my app when I archive it (if it's not necessary). I removed the Assets block from Xcode, so why does my archive still have assets.car in it with 3 generated app icon images, taking up 2.8MB? If Xcode always needs to generate 3 versions of app icons based on Icon Composer icons, that would be good to know so I stop trying to optimize this.

So I tried deleting the /Assets.xcassets/AppIcon.appiconset/Contents.json file (Deleting from Assets node in Xcode), cleaning my build folder and derived data from Product -> Delete Derived data, bumping my version number to ensure it's a different version I'm checking, then going through the same process I did before and outputting it, and I still see 3.5MB compressed, 4.5MB uncompressed, and 2.8MB in assets.car The only thing showing in my Assets part in Xcode is "AccentColor" To ask differently, is it even possible to get the assets.car file to not have the AppIcon variants inside of it that take up multiple megabytes? This is on MacOS 27. I can't attach the assets.car so I'll put the report App Thinning Size Report.txt assets.json

Reply to Provisioning problem
This seems to be a widespread problem and started happening for me today when I try to change my bundle id at all, for debug or release. I don't even have a ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/UserData/Provisioning Profiles folder Other occurrences of this: https://www.reddit.com/r/iOSProgramming/comments/1ni2iot/provisioning_profile_does_not_have_a_valid/ https://stackoverflow.com/questions/79765702/why-cant-i-run-my-xcode-app-on-my-phone
