I have the same issue. If a user denies notifications for my standalone watch app on the initial request, there isn't any where to enable them! It seems like reinstalling the app is the only way to get the prompt to appear again?

Ah! I thought I had the same issue - "Ready for Distribution" really does mean it's already in the store now. So anticlimactic...
