Reply to Waiting More Than 15 Days for an App Review -- Is This Fair to Developers?
i have submitted on September 29th and a couple rejections later, i resubmitted on October 14th and finally for another rejection yesterday on the 24th. The funny part is was just a quick fix rejection about the monetized subscription, that i fixed it within 15 minutes and resubmitted it and its now back into "waiting for review". My thought is for the engineer that rejects it, why not give a timeframe for the developer to fix the problem so in case he resubmits the solution, that engineer can continue looking into the app so that they can see the fix and finalize the app. its just upsetting to put that app back into "waiting for review" to wait longer again. i agree with you. We pay for the developer fee which is a yearly fee and i cant even promote my app. i am already live on Google. I developed a Christmas app so my app, as an independent developer, who also contributed his own money, the app will be useless after November. I will barely have enough time to promote it to Apple users to download it.

Reply to Recurring Guideline 2.5.4 rejection despite confirmed-working background audio on physical device — looking for community experience
That Guideline 2.5.4 rejection loop is brutal. A few things that usually fix this: Pre-load a demo story: If the reviewer has to record a custom story just to test playback, they'll skip it or fail. Make sure a pre-recorded stock story is visible front-and-center on a fresh install. Clarify the app switcher trap: If they are force-quitting the app from the app switcher and expecting audio to keep playing, remind them that iOS terminates background audio by design on force-quit (just like Spotify or Audible). Background audio is meant for screen locks and multitasking. Escalate: If you're 100% sure it works on physical devices, request a phone call with an App Review engineer directly in the Resolution Center reply, or submit a formal appeal.

Reply to Unusually long Apple "waiting for review" time
I think the frustration part of it all is we have to pay for a yearly subscription for the Apple Developer Account and you get charged right away but we are not able to get a hold of someone to help approve an app. I created a Christmas App that will be useless after November so is it right to pay for a subscription when my app may or may not deploy before November. I don't know what else to do either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reply to App Store Review Delay
May I ask what number you called because when I called the number I found, it directed me to Apple Support but they said they couldn't transfer me to the Apple Developer Team because that is a different area. I have been waiting for approval since September 29th after a couple rejections and I immediately fixed the app and just kept sitting in "waiting for review". I have opened multiple expedite requests and even customer inquiry requests and I don't get a response anywhere.
