Update: The App got rejected due to promotional image I added the same for my subscriptions. I corrected them and re-submitted the app today.

@ExpressiveSolutionsDeveloper for some reason is not allowing me to comment on your reply. Essentially, It was a standard reply from Developer Support. In short: my app "wasn't forgotten and is proceeding through the review process," they can't estimate how long the review will take because "review times vary for each app," and "you don't need to do anything else." They'll email me when the review is complete. So there's no timeline, but it does seem to confirm nothing is blocking the submission on my side. I'll post here when the status changes.

Just to keep a history. Today, I got an email from apple - 14 days after submitting the app. Still stuck on Waiting for review.

So far apple has not reached out to me.
