Sole Proprietor with Organization Account – W-8BEN-E Tax Form Issue

Hello Apple Developer Community,

I'm a registered sole proprietor based in Türkiye with a D-U-N-S number. My Apple Developer account was approved and activated as an Organization.

However, App Store Connect only offers the W-8BEN-E tax form, which is intended for entities. Since I operate as a sole proprietor, I cannot accurately complete the available entity classification options.

There is no Individual option, and I cannot access the W-8BEN form.

As a result, my Paid Apps Agreement remains stuck at "Pending User Info", preventing me from completing the tax and financial setup.

I have already contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and have been waiting for a resolution from the appropriate team.

Interestingly, I've also spoken with a Canadian developer who has exactly the same situation: a registered sole proprietorship, a D-U-N-S number, an approved Organization account, and the same W-8BEN-E problem.

My questions are:

  1. Can Apple make the W-8BEN form available to a sole proprietor with an existing Organization account?
  2. Is there a way to correct the tax classification without converting the Developer account from Organization to Individual?
  3. Has anyone successfully resolved this issue through Apple Finance or App Store Connect Support?
  4. Can an Apple representative clarify the correct procedure for sole proprietors in this situation?

I would appreciate any official guidance or a confirmed solution from developers who have experienced this issue.

Thank you.
