Guideline 3.0.0 price-confirmation message answered Oct 23, no response for 11 days. Status: Rejected

Hi everyone,

I submitted my first iOS app on Oct 21. On Oct 23 I got an automated message asking me to confirm the price of an in-app purchase (Guideline 3.0.0). I answered the same day, and I followed up on Oct 28.

Since then I've heard nothing. App Store Connect still shows "Rejected" and "Unresolved Issues", and the only message in the Resolution Center is that automated price question.

Has anyone been through this? How long did it take for you after you answered and did anything help besides waiting? How long do I have to wait still?

Thanks!

That automated price question usually needs two things, not one: the reply and a resubmission. A reply alone often doesn't put the app back in the queue while the status says "Rejected".

  1. Open App Review in App Store Connect → the rejected submission. If you see "Resubmit to App Review" (or "Update Review"), use it. Keep the same build; nothing in the binary needs to change.
  2. Make the reply short and explicit: "Yes, the intended price for [product ID] is [tier/price] in [currency]. This is correct." If the price really was a mistake, change it in the in-app purchase's pricing first, then reply and resubmit.
  3. Check the in-app purchase itself is attached to the version (Version page → In-App Purchases and Subscriptions) and its status is "Waiting for Review", not "Developer Action Needed". First-time IAPs have to go in with the app version.
  4. Then one expedite request is reasonable if you have a real date.
