App in "Waiting for Review" for 12 days — Apple ID 6820869711

Hello,

Our first app submission has been in "Waiting for Review" since 17 October 2026 with no status change.

App name: Gather Expense
Apple ID: 6820869711
Version: 1.0 (build 12)
Resubmitted for review: 17 October 2026, after answering a Guideline 2.1 Information Needed request with a screen recording and full details (also added to App Review Notes)
TestFlight external beta: approved 20 October 2026 (same build)
Developer Support case: 103007371511 (24 October 2026)
Current status: Waiting for Review

There is nothing new in App Review messages, and agreements, tax and banking are all active.

Could someone confirm whether this submission is progressing normally or whether it is held? If anything further is needed, I'll provide it immediately.

Thank you.

  • Resubmitted: 17 October 2026
  • Moved to In Review: 2 November 2026 (16 days in "Waiting for Review")
  • Approved: 2 November 2026, same day as In Review
  • Released: 3 November 2026

No message or explanation from App Review during the wait. The Developer Support case got only the automatic acknowledgement. Nothing was changed on our side. It simply moved through the queue.

For anyone still waiting: it seems to be a backlog across Apple, not a problem with individual submissions. Check that your agreements, tax and banking are active, answer any App Review messages fully, and give it time.

Good luck to everyone still in the queue.

Mine has been stuck in waiting for review since 14 Oct. No any update

Good Luck! Im waiting september for over three weeks for only one build. Now waiting since 15 october, no answer from apple after several support tickets.

I currently have 3 waiting for review and have also raised a ticket with no response been waiting 9 days!

We are a business and we and our customers rely on us releasing updates as they work with your web apps.

I have advertising ready to run on Halloween this weekend and not getting approved after hanging for four days will very likely cause me to miss out on sales I could have otherwise made. I don't understand how Apple can have a market cap of 5.09 trillion and still not manage to fully staff App Review. If we're going to pay money for a membership on top of a 15-30% potential cut of the profits, I think it is perfectly fair and reasonable to expect Apple to review 100% of all submissions (barring legal or safety reviews) within 48 hours with no exception and it's equally fair to criticize them when they fall short, which is often.
