Does Xcode 27 or TestFlight support installing a watch-only beta on an Apple Watch For Your Kids device? I want to test my watch only standalone app on my kids apple watch as that is the only device I have. Is it possible to use that watch for testing standalone apple watch application. The watch is setup as kids watch on my iphone.

I am pretty sure that TestFlight does not support this case, because there is no standalone TestFlight app for watchOS, and the TestFlight app on the parent's iPhone doesn't work for the kid's Apple Watch because they don't share the same Apple ID.
For Xcode, the case was unsupported. The documentation here explicitly mentions "enable Developer Mode on both the companion iPhone and the Apple Watch", and so I believe that is still the case.
I don't have an Apple Watch with Family Setup to confirm though. If you have one, you can follow the link mentioned above to confirm:
- Update your systems (macOS and watchOS) and tools (Xcode) to the latest version.
- Make sure your Mac and Apple watch are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- In the Device Hub app, click the Add(+) button and then the Pair Nearby Device… menu. Check if your Apple Watch appears in the UI there.
