Hello everyone,
I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an individual on October 17, 2026, and uploaded all the requested documents. The payment went through and appears as completed on my card statement. Apple also issued an invoice dated October 17 showing a zero balance due.
However, 10 days later, my account at developer.apple.com/account still shows "Purchase your membership. To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now". I haven't received a confirmation email or any membership activation.
What I've done so far:
- Contacted Apple Developer Support through the website on October 21 (Case ID: 103003939367). I received the invoice, but no answer about the activation, and the account status hasn't changed.
- I'm not paying a second time, since the first charge was already completed.
Details:
- Enrollment ID: 6W2CXK7U47
- Web Order Number: D005370729
- Invoice Number: MD21072906
This looks similar to another thread here, where the user enrolled on the same day and is also still waiting: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/853511
Has anyone run into this "paid but still asks for purchase" state? Did it resolve by itself, or did you need to escalate (phone call, Developer Support callback, etc.)? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Update: this is resolved. I requested a phone call through the Developer Support website, and after about 5 minutes on the call, the agent confirmed my enrollment. I received the welcome email right after.
A few notes in case they help others:
- The web ticket never got a useful reply, and my first two call attempts dropped while waiting in the queue (1 hour and 40 minutes). Requesting the callback from the support page worked.
- In my case the payment was completed and invoiced, but the account still showed "Purchase your membership" and the identity verification looked unresolved on Apple's side, even though I had submitted my documents and received the confirmation email.
- Have your Enrollment ID, Case ID and order or invoice number ready when you talk to the agent.
If you're in the same situation, I'd recommend requesting the call instead of waiting on the ticket. Good luck!
