Membership terminated under 3.2(f) - reinstatement request under review for 10 weeks (case 20000122635332)

Hello,

My Apple Developer Program membership was terminated on July 28, 2026 under Section 3.2(f) ("fraudulent conduct"). I received no prior warning and no description of the specific conduct.

Timeline:

  • Jul 29: Submitted an appeal.
  • Jul 30: Developer Support replied that the case was under senior advisor review.
  • Aug 7: Developer Support asked me to send my reasons for reinstatement by email. I did so on Aug 9.
  • Aug 12: Developer Support replied that the case had been forwarded to the senior team and that an Advisor would contact me if needed.
  • Since then: no update (about 10 weeks). I sent a follow-up on the same case thread today.

Background: my only app was a free World Cup score-prediction game using a virtual points system only (no real money, no in-app purchases, no gambling), distributed through TestFlight to a small invite-only group. It was never submitted to the App Store. I have since discontinued it. I have never had another developer account.

Questions for the community and for any Apple staff who can see this:

  1. Is there an official channel to ask for a status update on a case that has been with the senior team for this long?
  2. Has anyone had a similar 3.2(f) case resolved, and roughly how long did the review take?
  3. Is there any additional information I should send that would help the review?

Case reference: 20000122635332

Thank you.

For a membership termination under 3.2(f), the reinstatement decision has to come from Apple’s account review team, so the public forum can’t see the case or estimate a timeline. Since Support already said it was forwarded to the senior team, I’d keep everything on that same case and ask for a status check and whether they need any specific additional information. A concise timeline and any requested evidence are easier to review than opening another case.

I’d also avoid creating another developer account or reposting private case details publicly while the appeal is pending. If the team gives you a next step, follow that through the private support channel so it stays attached to the appeal.
