Hi Apple Dev community! I'm a first-time iOS app developer who's been working on a new app over the past several months as a solo dev. I finally got my app submitted a week ago 🎉... Sadly... It's still been a week with absolutely no movement on App Store Connect. I'm concerned that I may have done something incorrectly since it's been sitting in this status for a bit. Does anyone here have any advice on what you'd do in this situation?

A week in Waiting for Review does not necessarily mean you filled something out incorrectly. Apple says that status means they received the submission but have not started reviewing it, and first submissions can take longer. I’d check the App Review section for any message or missing review information, then give it a little more time. If it stays there, contact Apple through App Store Connect with the app version and submission details. I wouldn’t withdraw and resubmit just to reset the queue.
