Waiting for Review Megathread

Hi all,
It seems like there are a ton of us stuck in a "Waiting for Review" traffic jam, with Apple providing essentially no information on their end. Immensely frustrating.

Given that, would people be up for posting their time submitted and (once they receive a review) editing to include the time it took? It would be good to get a sense of how long everyone is waiting.

I'll go first:

Submitted: October 8
Status: Waiting for review

I'll update this post when I hear back.

We're experiencing the same issue with our app, PriceEasy Enterprise.

Our first production release has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for over 4 days, and the review hasn't started yet.

We've already submitted 4–5 expedited review requests and contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times, requesting manual escalation. We've also requested a callback and provided contact details for our CEO and Senior Developer, but unfortunately, we haven't received any response so far.

This delay is directly impacting our business operations and client commitments. Our headquarters is in Houston, Texas, and we serve clients across the US and internationally.

App Details:

  • App Name: PriceEasy Enterprise
  • App ID: 6822673059
  • Version: 1.0
  • Build: 4 (1.0.3)

Has anyone recently experienced a similar situation? Were you able to get Apple to move the submission into review through any escalation channel?

Any suggestions or help from Apple representatives would be greatly appreciated. We're particularly interested in knowing whether there is a way to reach the App Review Operations team directly.

Thank you!

My app is already live, but the latest update has been stuck in review since 18 October.

With developers flooding the App Store with hundreds of apps for review(I blame Claude ;)), Apple clearly can't keep up with the volume. Their entire developer support system seems to be overwhelmed.

I still have a support ticket open from two months ago regarding a TestFlight issue, and it hasn't even been looked at. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it's simply been lost in all the noise.

Just received this email from Apple. My first app, my first submission, success!

Congratulations!

16th October - submitted

Expedited review on the 23rd approved

Rejected on the 28th October due to not using my specified demo account in the instructions I had given - reviewer didn't even make it into the app which is super frustrating.

Resubmitted an hour later with even clearer instructions and have no herd anything back for a week now.

Very frustrating and disheartening after almost a years worth of work and money spent

I had posted here before, I cancelled my app submittal that I submitted on October 15th.

My app is very basic with no login and no payment. I'm a brand new developer account (business listing, not individual) and this is my first app (also brand new).

I resubmitted it on Monday, October 26, 2026.
On Tuesday November 3, 2026, I submitted it to be expedited
On Wednesday, November 4, 2026, I sent a message to customer service that this is a simple app with no payment or login requirements to please review and approve it.

Today, Thursday, November 5, 2026, around 11AM in the morning I received "In Review" status change, they never installed or ran the test case for my app - my server logs proove that - and the app was approved within 30 minutes.
I'm so glad the wait is finally over.

Update to my post on 11/2 Initial post

New developer, first app. Timeline:

1.0 submittal August 27th
1.0 Ready For Review October 9th
1.0 Waiting For Review October 9th
1.0 Developer rejected October 17th
1.1 submittal October 17th
1.1 Ready For Review October 17th
1.1 Waiting For Review October 17th

I was on my way home from a conference an hour ago and I received a congratulations text from a friend of mine. I responded "?" and he sent me a screenshot or the email he received congratulating him on the app being approved. It took me a sec to realize he got the email because he is on my internal testing team. I didnt have my phone with me that has my business email on it so I couldnt check.

I didnt believe it was true since this morning it was still Waiting for Review. The status never changed. It went from Waiting for review to Pending manual Release.

I know how much it sucks waiting. I'm sorry and I hope y'alls apps get approved soon.

7 days and counting in Waiting for Review.

I assume they are buried under an avalanche of AI slop apps. That's going to slow things down for everyone.

Quick update. My app has been reviewed and approved. Hopefully others are also seeing this.

Submittes September 16, weeks to get minor feedback which addressed immediately on my end and no movement since. Allegedly I'm on the expedited track too for over a month. Customer support doesn't even respond - weeks go by. This is absolutely insane.

DSA verification stuck here from 2 nov

Hi Apple Developer Community,

I’m looking for advice regarding my app, Pocketly: Tinytopia.

App Name: Pocketly: Tinytopia
Apple App ID: 6828208070

My expedited App Review request was officially approved by Apple Developer Support on November 2, but as of November 6, my app is still stuck in “Waiting for Review.”

I was informed that the review would begin shortly, but several days have now passed without any progress.

I’ve contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and have been trying to get this escalated.

I understand that expedited review does not guarantee immediate approval, but I’m concerned that the review hasn’t even started despite the request being approved.

Has anyone experienced this recently? Did contacting a Senior Developer Support Advisor or an Escalation Supervisor help?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance from Apple staff or developers who have experienced a similar situation.

Thank you!

I guess I see a little more clarity on this issue. I was wondering why this submission was taking so long and now I see there are still people ahead of me in line.
