Screenshot uploads cannot be saved; app submission blocked

Earlier screenshot uploads displayed red blank placeholders. After retrying, the red indicators cleared, but the screenshots disappeared when I reopened App Store Connect.
“Add for Review” reports: “There are still screenshot uploads in progress.”
Uploading a single screenshot into iPad → 13″ Display now reports: “Your changes could not be saved. Try again later.” The section shows 0 screenshots.
The problem persists in Safari, Chrome, and Chrome Incognito after signing out and back in.
The tested files are RGB PNGs without transparency, measuring 2048 × 2732 or 2732 × 2048—accepted dimensions for this section.
I've tried other remedies/solutions from this forum as well to no avail. Thanks in advance.
