Reply to New app in review since October 7th (13+ days)
It has now been 28 days since submitting my app with no apparent review of the app itself. Update: the submission entered review and on 29 October 2026 received a Guideline 2.1(b) Information Needed request about the business model. I replied in App Store Connect the same day (29 October, 12:26 GMT) with full answers. The app is free, with no paid content or subscriptions. There has been no response since, and the status shows Rejected pending App Review's reply. Submission ID: 8a1aea48-8e3b-4c41-b6ec-29e089d02f43 Version: 1.0 (38) Support case: 102998324983 Could someone from App Review please confirm the reply has been received and the review can continue?

Reply to 15 Days Waiting for App Review – Apple, This Is Unacceptable for Paying Developers
My app has been in review for 16 days. This is a poor user experience. While such a delay is unfortunate, this would have been much easier to manage if Apple had given me a realistic estimate of how long reviews were taking. Even an approximate estimate with a granularity of weeks would be better than nothing; as it is, I have to prepare for it being reviewed any time between the next hour and... the next year? My support request has not been answered. If Apple are too overwhelmed to answer support requests, then they should consider turning them off (or adding a note that questions about app reivew will not be replied to) rather than waste developers' time in allowing us to submit them.
