Reply to 15 Days Waiting for App Review – Apple, This Is Unacceptable for Paying Developers
UPDATE – October 27, 2026: Almost One Month and Still No Resolution It has now been almost one month since I first submitted Virtual Pro Association on September 28, 2026, and I still have no resolution. Despite requesting an expedited review, which Apple accepted, and repeatedly addressing the issues raised during previous reviews, I am still struggling to get my app reviewed in a reasonable timeframe. My latest submission was sent on October 19, and it is still showing “Waiting for Review.” All three in-app purchase products included in the submission are also waiting for review. I have contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times, but I still have no clear explanation or realistic timeline for when the review will begin. I have now had to resubmit everything again, and I am extremely frustrated. I have spent months developing this app, preparing its launch, and building a community around it. The delay has already affected my launch plans and the people waiting for the iOS app. I completely understand that Apple must review every app carefully. I am not asking for approval without a proper review. I am simply asking for the review to take place and for some transparency about what is causing these delays. Almost one month since the initial submission, an accepted expedited review request, multiple resubmissions, and still no clear answer. Is anyone else still experiencing this problem? Has anyone who submitted their app in late September or early October finally had their app reviewed? Apple, could someone please investigate this situation and provide a meaningful update? Developers invest their time, money, and effort into building products for Apple's ecosystem. We deserve clear communication when something goes wrong.

Unfortunately, my app has been rejected again, but this time for completely different reasons. This is exactly what makes the situation so frustrating. It raises serious concerns about whether the first review was thorough enough. If the reviewer had checked the app properly from the beginning, could these issues have been identified in the first review instead of forcing me to go through another rejection and resubmission? I have spent months developing Virtual Pro Association, and I have addressed the issues Apple has reported as quickly as possible. I understand that an app must meet all requirements, and I am not asking Apple to lower its standards. However, this process feels endless when new issues are raised at every stage. I will fix the newly reported issues and resubmit the app once again, but I am genuinely worried that I will have to wait another 7–10 days just to discover whether there are even more issues that could have been identified earlier. How is an independent developer supposed to plan a launch under these circumstances? I sincerely hope the next review will be comprehensive and that I will not have to wait another 10 days for a decision. Developers deserve a fair, thorough, and reasonably timely review process.

Reply to Expedited Review granted – App still “Waiting for Review” after 6 days
I am clearly not the only developer experiencing this issue. Other developers are reporting the same delays, including cases where expedited reviews were accepted but their apps remained stuck in “Waiting for Review”. This raises a serious question: what is the point of an expedited review if there is no visible progress, no meaningful update, and no clear timeline? My app, Virtual Pro Association, was supposed to launch at the beginning of October. Our new FC Pro Clubs season starts on October 19, and this delay is directly affecting my launch plans. I have paid for the Apple Developer Program and invested months of work into this project. I am not asking Apple to bypass its guidelines. I am asking for the review process to work as intended and for developers to receive meaningful communication when something goes wrong. Could an Apple representative please provide a concrete update on my submission rather than another generic response? Independent developers deserve better communication and a review process they can realistically plan around.

Unfortunately, there is still no update. Today is October 15, and my app is still waiting for review despite the expedited review request being accepted. I planned to launch Virtual Pro Association at the beginning of October, but that plan has been completely disrupted. The FC Pro Clubs season starts on October 19, and I am still unable to release the iOS app at a crucial moment for my community. Thankfully, I have a website, otherwise my entire launch would have been compromised. I have spent months developing this platform, preparing everything, and building expectations within the community, only to be left waiting with no meaningful information from Apple. Honestly, paying $99 per year for the Apple Developer Program and then being unable to publish your app in time is incredibly frustrating. I understand that Apple needs to review applications for security and quality, but developers also deserve reasonable review times and clear communication, especially when an expedited review has been accepted. What makes this even more frustrating is seeing so many apps on the App Store that seem to violate basic quality standards, while legitimate developers who have invested months of work are left waiting for weeks just to get their applications reviewed. I have paid for a full year of the Developer Program, and I have already lost a major launch opportunity. Almost two months of that annual subscription period have effectively passed without me being able to use the platform as intended, and I still have no idea when this situation will be resolved. Apple needs to understand that these delays have real consequences for independent developers and small businesses. We cannot simply postpone seasons, marketing campaigns, partnerships, and commitments to our communities indefinitely. At this point, I am not asking for special treatment or approval without a proper review. I am asking for a clear update, accountability, and a realistic timeline. This experience has been extremely disappointing. @digitdash @eisenhauer @onTrakCuesports @RhodesRides93 @seachellemz

Thanks for your response. Just to clarify, this is our first App Store submission for Virtual Pro Association. The app has not been rejected before and has never entered review yet. It has simply remained in “Waiting for Review” since September 28. Our expedited review request was accepted by Apple, but the status still hasn't changed. We've also contacted App Review Support and are currently waiting for their response. Given the number of similar reports appearing recently, we'll keep the current submission in the queue and wait. Thanks for the information.
