Reply to My Android App Is Now Live on Google Play While iOS Remains in Apple's Expedited Review Queue
Hey, thanks for sharing this. We're in almost the same situation with our first iOS app, StoneEcho. It's already live on Google Play, but Apple has kept our iOS submission in Waiting for Review since Oct 12, after an earlier Guideline 2.1 request. We contacted Apple Developer Support on Oct 14 but still haven't heard anything back. Can I ask how you managed to get a response from Apple on Oct 16? Did you use the App Review Status contact form, reply through App Store Connect, or contact them another way? And how long did it take them to reply? Also, did you specifically request expedited review, or did Apple put your app in that queue themselves? Would really appreciate any details. Thanks!

Reply to First iOS app review still unresolved since Oct 9 (Guideline 2.1) - anyone else waiting this long?
Reading all these replies, I'm starting to wonder if this is becoming a bigger issue than just slow app reviews. We all pay $99 a year for the Apple Developer Program. Of course that doesn't mean Apple has to approve every app, and I understand some apps need extra checks. But when developers spend weeks waiting, provide all the videos and information Apple asks for, and then can't even get a reply from support, at what point does this become unreasonable? Has anyone actually looked into whether developers have any legal grounds to challenge this? Maybe even collectively, if enough of us are experiencing the same thing? I'm not saying we should rush into suing Apple. I just think it's worth asking what rights we have as paying developers, and whether there's any accountability when submissions are left waiting for weeks without explanation. I'm curious if anyone here has legal experience or has already explored this. Because simply sending more support emails doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere.

Reply to New app stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 7 days after "Information Needed"
Hey, we're actually in almost the exact same situation with our first iOS app, StoneEcho. Apple asked us for 6 videos under Guideline 2.1 around Oct 10. We provided everything, then resubmitted Build 20 on Oct 12. Still stuck in Waiting for Review, and no response from Apple Support either. Our app is also already live on Google Play. Just wondering, have you had any update since posting this? Did Apple approve your expedited review request, or is that still pending too? I'm trying to figure out if this is happening to a lot of first-time developers right now. Would really appreciate an update if anything changes on your side. Thanks!

Reply to TerraPulse - Waiting for Review since 8 October after Guideline 2.1 reply
just wondering if there's been any update on your app since you posted this? Has Apple finally picked it up for review? I'm in a similar situation with my first iOS app. We already went through a Guideline 2.1 information request, provided 6 demo videos, and our latest submission has been stuck in Waiting for Review since Oct 12. Also contacted Apple Support but havent heard anything back.
