Update: My app was approved on October 23rd so it spent 28 days in review. It was a tough wait but I'm glad I didn't pull the app and resubmit. Just in case this helps anyone in regards to expectations for a new app, my app supports iPhone, iPad and Watch with English localisation (I use words like colour/color and customise/customize), and it has subscriptions. I also submitted screenshots in four regions for iPhone, iPad and Watch.

My new app has been in review since September 25th which is 25 days. I requested an expedited review on day 16 which was granted, and I requested an escalation in my support case on day 18 which was also granted 3 days later. I'm just speechless at this whole process. I've never seen it as bad in all the years I've been doing this.

In review since September 25th (19 days). It's extremely frustrating. This is my first app on my new account. I did get two rejections for fixable issues, but that all happened in less than a week which I thought was great progress. My most recent submission went in on September 22nd, it then went into review on September 25th, and again, I thought that was great. I hadn't even requested an expedited review at that point. But then a week turned into two and now nearly three. Support had the same generic response as kevin916. I requested an expedited review on day 16 and still nothing. I don't know what else I can do. I've been doing this for 13 years. I've submitted apps before for companies and when I worked with a friend, both new and updates, and I've never seen it this bad.

Just for an update; I'm now on day 19 of still being in review. I got a reply from support saying the app was in review and nothing else was needed from me. I did recently reply to it but otherwise I don't know what else I can do. I'm honestly losing hope here.

Is it possible our submissions are stuck? Can they be forgotten about or lost in a queue? I'm 12 days in review now and it doesn't feel reasonable at all. I'm wondering if I should just reject myself, add my iPhone Duo support work into the next build and resubmit.

Hopefully we see some resolution soon.
