I know this is about a year later, but for me, I just started submitting new requests. I still have the first one "in progress" from days ago, but the new ones started switching to Accepted in about 1-6 hours. I kept having to redo the same thing with some different code and it started speeding up to about an hour, even though it was the same day I started hitting Apple with the new requests Point is, try sending it off again - it may get approved for the other attempts.
