Reply to Unusually long Apple "waiting for review" time
I've been live on the Google Play Store since 12th October '26. Waiting for Review since 14th Oct '26.... If they had a visible live queue system, that would remove the stress of the unknown, and we could plan releases better, but they don't. Developer support responses by email are non-existent. "Recent reports from mid-to-late October 2026 describe review times stretching from the usual 24–48 hours into multiple days or even weeks for some developers, driven largely by a surge in AI-generated apps and games. A few indie and mid-size studios have publicly said updates that used to clear quickly are now sitting for a week or more, and the feedback they do get is often generic."

Reply to My Android App Is Now Live on Google Play While iOS Remains in Apple's Expedited Review Queue
Update — 19 October 2026 A further update on GoldEngine AI's launch across Google Play and Apple's App Store. Since my original post, Google Play has continued to show encouraging growth: 259 device acquisitions, up from 108 (+140%). 177 reported installs in the latest production overview. 96.2% install base reported by Google Play Console. Meanwhile, the iOS version remains in Apple's expedited review queue, with the latest submission waiting for review since October 14. It's now five days since that submission entered the queue, and three days since Apple confirmed on October 16 that the application was still in the expedited review process. As an independent developer, it's encouraging to see Android users discovering GoldEngine AI, but frustrating that I still cannot offer the same application to iPhone users. I appreciate the comments from other developers experiencing similar delays. Hopefully, my next update will be to confirm that GoldEngine AI is available on both platforms.

Reply to My Android App Is Now Live on Google Play While iOS Remains in Apple's Expedited Review Queue
Hi StoneEcho, the only response I've received from Apple was to confirm that I don't need to press the expedited review button again once my app is in that queue. They explained that any subsequent resubmissions automatically stay in the expedited review queue, so I don't need to request it again. I originally requested expedited review myself, but unfortunately, I haven't received any meaningful update on when the review will actually take place. Like you, my Android app is already live on Google Play, but I'm still waiting on Apple.

Reply to Initial iOS Release Waiting for Review for 7 Days — Guidance Requested
Update — 13 October 2026 A brief update on our release progress. GoldEngine AI has now been successfully approved and published on the Google Play Store and is publicly available for Android users: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ai.goldengine.mobile Meanwhile, our initial iOS submission, originally submitted on 4 October 2026, remains in Waiting for Review as of 13 October. Both platforms are part of the same product launch, and we are continuing to wait for Apple's review process to progress. We have not withdrawn or resubmitted the iOS application, as we would prefer to preserve its existing place in the review queue. If other developers are experiencing similar delays with initial iOS submissions during October 2026, I would welcome any updates on their review timelines. Thank you.

Reply to 20 days since submission; no reply 11 days after providing requested information
My app has been running on Android since 12 October. On this side of the fence, my app is in "Waiting for Review". Apple Development's lack of explanation, timeline, or useful support response leaves us unable to plan our iOS launches and advertising. We’re asking for basic communication, not guaranteed approval.
