I’m a solo developer and I’ve spent weeks building each of my games. I submitted 4 of them to the App Store, and they sat in review for 3 weeks with no progress and no messages.
After 3 weeks, I submitted a review request through the Apple Developer contact page. About one minute later, all 4 games were rejected under Guideline 4.3. They couldn’t have been played or reviewed by a person in that time, so the rejection appears to have been automatic.
These are not variations of the same app. They are 4 different games in completely different genres (a sort puzzle, a simulation game, a tycoon game and [4th game]), each with its own design, mechanics and codebase. The same 4 games went through Google Play’s review and were all published within a week.
Since then I’ve filed an appeal with the App Review Board and contacted Developer Support twice (case IDs 103010334233 and 30000004886877), including a written explanation and a screen recording of the gameplay. I’ve been dealing with this for over a month now and I haven’t received a single response from anyone, not even a confirmation that my appeal is in the queue.
It’s honestly discouraging to put weeks of work into a game, wait 3 weeks, and then have it rejected automatically within a minute, with no way to reach anyone to ask why.
All I’m asking for is a real review of my games, or at least a specific explanation of what triggered 4.3 so I can fix it.
Thank you.
