I’m looking for some guidance regarding an app submission that has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” (Pending Review) since October 16, 2026.
According to the activity history in App Store Connect, my app version 1.0.0 was marked as “Ready for Review” on October 16 at 9:22 AM and moved to “Pending Review” at 9:32 AM. Today is October 27, and the status has not changed.
I have already taken the following steps to try to resolve this situation:
Submitted an expedited review request.
Created a support issue to ask about the delay.
Waited for an update, but so far, neither action has resulted in a resolution or meaningful information about the review status.
I understand that Apple needs time to review apps and ensure they meet the App Store Review Guidelines. However, waiting this long without any updates, even after requesting an expedited review and contacting support, is becoming concerning.
Has anyone else experienced similar delays recently? If so, how long did your app remain in “Waiting for Review,” and were you able to get a response or move the review forward?
I would also appreciate any suggestions on what additional steps I can take to get an update from Apple.
If an Apple team member is monitoring this forum, I would be grateful for any clarification regarding these delays or advice on how to proceed.

I wanted to share an update on my previous post regarding my app submission that had been stuck in “Waiting for Review” since October 16.
I'm happy to report that Apple has finally approved my app! 🎉
After waiting for several days, submitting an expedited review request, and contacting Apple Support, my app has made it through the review process.
It was definitely a stressful experience, especially not knowing how long the review would take or when I would receive an update. However, I'm glad the process is finally moving forward.
The app is now marked as “Pending Developer Release,” and I'm looking forward to making it available on the App Store.
I wanted to post this update in case other developers are experiencing similar delays. Sometimes, it takes longer than expected, but the review process does eventually move forward.
