First app stuck in Waiting for Review for over a week after answering Guideline 2.1 (expedite confirmed)

Hi everyone,

I would appreciate some advice on my first app submission, which seems to be stuck.

App: Carebud: ADHD Routine Pet (Apple ID 6818243661), iOS, new developer account.

Oct 10: Submitted version 1.0 together with two auto-renewable subscriptions.

Oct 11: Within about 10 hours, App Review replied with Guideline 2.1 Information Needed (New App Submission, limited App Review history).

Oct 11: I answered all seven points in App Store Connect, attached a screen recording from a physical iPhone, added the same information to the App Review notes and resubmitted with build 1.0 (15).

Oct 15: I requested an expedited review, which was confirmed ("We'll expedite review for Carebud").

Oct 18: The app version, both subscriptions and the subscription group are still in Waiting for Review.

Agreements, tax and banking are all active.

Is there anything else I should check on my side, or is this simply the current queue? Should I keep waiting or contact App Review again?

Thank you for any help!

From your timeline, you answered the 2.1 questions, attached a device recording, and App Store Connect now shows the version and subscriptions as Waiting for Review. If your response is visible in Resolution Center and there’s no new message or action request, there may be nothing else to change on your side right now.

The expedite confirmation means Apple accepted the request, but it doesn’t show a guaranteed start time. I’d avoid withdrawing or resubmitting while this submission is pending. Since the expedite was confirmed on Oct 15, you can follow up once on the existing App Review support case with the confirmation date, submission ID, version/build, and current status, and ask whether they need anything else. Keep account and case identifiers in the private support case rather than posting them here. Forum members can’t see the review queue.
