1 week and waiting for review. first submission

Hi solares, The same issue for me. My first app was always quickly reviewed, and now with the first submission of my second app I am also suffering. I withdrowed couple of times and re-submitted but it did not help, just made things worse apparently. So I wont withdrow anymore.

Hey, same here. I quite need them to review the app as soon as they can. I‘ve Seen so many people getting updates from Apple in a 10-24 hours time. However, mine after 4 days is standby on “waiting for review”. Imagine getting rejected after a week of waiting. I need your assistance guys please. Thanks. Have a great day.

My app Wiit (version 1.0, first public release) has been in “Waiting for Review” for 7 days without moving to “In Review.”, whereas my first app took 24 hours a few months back.

Yes. That makes sense. When AI slop really ramped up, Apple had to make changes to the App Review process.

I’ve seen several recent threads from other developers reporting similar delays, particularly with first submissions, so I’m wondering whether there is currently a broader App Review backlog.

There's no way to tell. It seems logical that those people who aren't having any problems aren't complaining about it.

For anyone currently submitting a first release: how long have you been waiting? And for those whose apps were eventually reviewed after a similar delay, how long did it take to move from “Waiting for Review” to “In Review”?

Every developer, app, and submission is different. The App Review process is a qualitative process. The experience of someone trying to submit the 3,567th astrology-based dating app for teens might not be applicable to your app, unless it is. 😄
